IS my GH Flora Series plan okay

Okay so I got this running through my brain even tickling it.

I am growing 6 auto’s Colorado Cookies at the moment currently are 2 and half week they are looking okay.

• soil ( canna terra professional soil which is a medium soil it’s consist of nitrogen-rich potting mix for plant cultivation. Your plants grow best in a nitrogen-rich potting mix. CANNA Terra Professional potting mix is unlike anything you will find in a garden centre. It contains a blend of upgraded black peat, granulated peat moss and perlite (I copy and pasted this I’m not selling it)

• plant pot size is 15 litres.

• I have started the feed on what’s stated on the back off the bottle but I’m only at the moment giving 1/4 of the recommended dosage.

• I’m going to slowly work my way up to full dosage. ( do you think this is a good idea, or shall I only give half as the full dosage

•the sequence I’m feeding at is (nutrients water nutrients water nutrients water so forth)


Ive included a snap of the back of the bottle if anyone wants to take a peep.

also snap off the soil ingredients on the bag.

anyone has any advice I would be truly be happy.

I used GH Flora for many years. Starting at a lower dose is a wise idea, and bump it up slowly to 2/3 of recommended. If the plants show signs of deficiency, slightly increase the amount, do a few feeds, and review. Mostly I'd up all three bottles equally, but periodically would have to up the amount of a single nutrient for a single plant or two (so I'd bump up slightly the bottle that had the nutrient that was in deficiency). For a first time grower, I'd increase all three at the same time when required. There were only a handful of strains that required me to hit the actual recommendations (or even go over it slightly), but that was very rare.

I'd recommend feeding every watering. I tried numerous times over the years to skip feedings and just give water, but it always inevitably led to troublesome deficiencies showing up.

I've taking your notes down now my friend thank you. Do you reckon start feeding them now or wait until the 3rd week. And signs of deficiency slightly increase the plants amount next time.

the only thing I’m worried about now is that there auto’s. obviously they don’t take as much nutrients as a standard plant.

Who told you that?

I start feeding nutrients as soon as the cotyledons (the first leaves, the round ones that the plant starts with) turn yellow. However, I don't grow in soil, I grow in a peat based product, which is pretty well inert (ie. no or extremely minimal nutrients built in). If your medium has a full litany of nutrients built in, you may not have to feed until after three weeks.

When the bottom leaves begin to turn a pale yellow, that's Nitrogen deficiency starting and is your cue to start feeding.

your a diamond I been looking GH Flora series feeding schedules online the people on there say auto’s don’t take a lot off nutrients compared to other plants. But I’ll go with what your saying. You know your stuff. I’ll wait until the bottom leaves turn pale yellow then I’ll start my feed cycle.
