Is my 400w bulb causing power outages in my apartment?

Greetings,

I recently took over a grow from a friend. The plants are flowering and I'm using a 400W bulb I've used a few times before, in the same apartment building in which I currently reside.

I started this grow 3 days ago. Both yesterday and today, the power has gone out on my side of the building. The problem is fixed within the hour and the landlord assures me I'm not using too much power in my unit (I told her I was recording some musicians and using a lot of powerful pre-amps and processors..hehe). She's not aware however, of the true source of my power usage.

Question - Is the 400W bulb I'm using, (which I've used before) causing these outages, or is it likely something else? Typically the only things in usage at the time of the outage are the light, fan, and central AC.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your time. Happy growing!

Don't sweat it.. A single Fender Twin amp draws (120v at 3 amps) 360w ... Gaming computers are more than that.. if your blowing up the apt with 400 watt, THEY have issues, not you.
