Roy Nelson's fighting style is Kung Fu and hes a mixed martial artist in ufc.

mma isnt necessarily better than any single art. in mma you cant even use a lot of the moves you would learn in karate or tae kwon do. its almost like comparing apples and oranges. an skilled mma guy say like a prime randy couture(wrestler) that doesnt know karate and fights in a karate tournament against a skilled karate dude say like semmy schilts. schilts would probably kill couture. now if schilts went to fight a prime randy in ufc, couture is probably going to win because of his superior wrestling. look at his pride fights against fedor emelianenko or sergei kharitonov. they used their sambo/wrestling skills to take him down and defeat him. i bet he would beat them all in karate though.

What ever Jon Jones is doing is what you want to be doing. Oh and you have to be extremely athletic like his entire family.
no you dont want to do what jones is doing. hes the biggest bitch in mma. great fighter but a piece of shit as a person. http://fiveouncesofpain.com/2009/12/04/jon-jones-i-was-always-the-kid-that-snitched/ i hope we see cormier kill him if he makes it to LHW. then him and that bitch anderson are too scared to fight each other. fuck ufc, glad i never pay for their shit anymore. watch for free whizy whig. i'll be paying for bellator, rampage vs ortiz though, a promotion i have much more respect for. just sucks it's a B league.

No style/art/sport/tv-show is unbeatable.

I personally think the martial art that lets you walk out alive is the best.
Martial Arts are about staying alive, in any situation. We have put them outside of the perspective in which we live today. People used to train martial arts and their lives depended upon it.

imagine different scenarios. Sometimes you do not want to hit the floor (like uneven terrain or a bunch of other people waiting to beat the crap out of you)
1v1 mma is pretty reasonable.

The best fight is the fight avoided. (cant remember who said that... i think it was mr miyagi)
