After trimming all weekend, I would have to say YES it is definitely worth it. With a little training and lollipopping a couple of weeks into flower my canopy was very even and I would say I only had 10% larf that sucks to trim, instead of 25-30% that I've had in the past. I'm not sure how or if it helped the plant in regards to putting energy into upper buds, but I feel like the buds that I left on were all larger than expected. It made trimming much easier and saved a ton of time.

You could still do it and they wouldnt miss a beat. In my experience...lollipoppoing and pruning back is less stressful then lst. Show them sexy legs on them girls, they love that airflow up their skirts too;)
Yeah I got it all laid wide open I just have some on the bottom that just aren't able to get much light

I was right at that point when I lollipopped everything that wasn't getting enough light. Didn't seem to hurt the plant at all.

What I like to do is top all plants one week before flower. Switch them to 12/12. Let the plants go in to flower and at 2 weeks take the bottom 1/3 off. Not necessarily lollipopping them. However, it really cuts down on larf and gives you nice big buds.

I always try running them without trimming first. If they produce decent bottom nugs i dont under trim. If they are a bunch of small producing larfy plants ill under cut them. Seriously though OP. Do a side by side and see for yourself.

same here. i've found a couple strains that mature down there as quick as they do up top.

Thanks for all the replys ... Think I'm going to give it a try.. Going to take the bottom 1/3 a week before flower so they have so time to recover before flower , then after there stretch do a light pruning
