It's not working for me, it brings up the "you are not connected to the internet" error when I try to use it.

The livechat link is down with no idea when it will be fixed but you can still get there using any Internet Relay Chat client. I use Colloquy on a mac, lots of others use Icechat.
The server is irc.rollitup.org.
The room is #rollitup
