Is Leaving Half Brown Leaves a Good Idea ?

I have a small plant, it grows very slowly, it's 5 weeks old, yet around 5-6 inches tall.

It hardly has leaves as can be seen below.

I always saw videos saying it's good to cut off leaves who turn yellow, but there are hardly any leaves on this poor plant.

Some leaves are half yellow, is it good to just leave them there, "it's something" , or should they be cut off ?

The plant:

(The wetness is Neem oil spray)

Remove the lower completely dead leaves. Trim the dead area off the other.
Out doors eh?
What are you feeding her with?

Yeah it's outdoor (Gurrilla), therefore I have a little time each visit, want to get out of there asap, which makes things harder.

I feed (hopefully) her with Biobizz' Bio-Grow ( http://www.biobizz.com/products/organic-fertilizers/bio-grow )

Will do that, just making sure the still-living half of the leaves are still working.

Feed at 1/2 strength for a week or 2 till she grows some....then go full strength.
Over fed you say..

Could very well be, started feeding when it was about a week old from seeding, it's sister died a while ago.

Will water-only it next 2 times.

Too much love kills :)

To me it looks like its not getting enough light and or heat. Pretty small for its age witch is leading me to believe that its not uptaking nutrients properly. Overwatering could also be the culprit.

It died :(

It's getting the max possible sun, during the longest days of the year.

I think it's bad soil which may combine many factors :(

I feel your pain fella, my plant is on the way to death as well I think and its 5 weeks old or over and only about 3 or 4 inches tall. I done mine indoors but think either too much heat or hot soil is not doing her any favors. Guess we just need to start over with good soil and temp control.

Maybe it's good, we could end up with a sick plant giving 5 grams of flowers.... now we'll wait a little longer but get healthier yield.

You learn the hard way.
