First Time Newbie that needs help!

I have 2 NL plants, It's 4 1/2 weeks from seedling in these pics, CFL grow 24/7. FFOF and Sunshine #4 50/50 soil. 1/4 strength Nutes once a week, Distilled H20 other waterings.
I was trying to LST but my nodes are very short and the girls are bushy, (fem seeds). I did my best!

When should I start 12/12 to Flower? or still VEG for a little longer? I dont have alot of room height, maybe 20", they are on a shelf now but i will lower them to the floor and bring down the lights.

Your suggestions would be appreciated!!!

20 inches! your plants will at LEAST double in size when you flower them. its really up to you.they look indica so they shouldnt get real huge anyways so if you want you can go ahead and flower they will double or can even triple in height.so go ahead and flip them to flower or if you want some more height then wait .its really all up to you.thats the great thing bout growing indoors. . .playing god! :)

Depends how much space u got in there. Don't forget they're going to stretch. They look good for floro grown. You gonna finish em that way too?

From a distance they look like complete train wrecks but when i enlarged the pics they looked georgeous. Really bushy, tight internodal space and to be honest i reckon i coulnt even achieve that compact growth you got going on there, is there even a stem or just all leaves.

Totally wicked and impressed me a lot. Been growing a while or just a natural greenfingered gardener?

Really georgeous plants, i'm jealous now!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes this is my first shot, alot of research on ROI helped. Yes there is a stem, and these girls have tight internodes, thats why it was hard to LST from the forums i read here. Yes there is a stem but you have to dig for it. Here is a pic of the setup. if they get tall big i guess i can get that light all the way up to the top. They smell great and look good to me from what i have seen here.

If I go 12/12 now will the buds start coming out of from the nodes and show thru the forest of leaves? And should I start Bloom Nutes? Thanks

Yes I will just change the bulbs and let her rip, I just hope I have the room for them to finish.
I have probs burning plants that I flip. I follow manufacturer's directions and still they burn.....si I'm going to suggest, from my own experiences, that when u start with the nutes do it at weak rates and as the root system branches out u can up the rate a lil at a time until u get to full strength.
I think they look so bushy I wouldn't LST them I would top them and allow four main colas to develop. But do what you think is best it's all a learning exp anyway
I have a feeling your plants are in good hands

Thanks for the advice, if I top them now how long do would I have to wait to go to 12/12?. Also I have been giving them 1/4 strength nutes once a week, just h20 the other times, so far no problems. I really want to go 12/12 soon, I am just concerned on my box height and the girls getting to big to control once in flower.

Is that a surge protector power strip under your pots? You might want to consider relocating that. Wouldn't want your first grow to be your last and that would be a shame because they are gorgeous!

is it a surge locator under the pots, good idea if it is, i was taught you want all electrics above pot height so no chance water can spill, hydro guys keep water below waist height and electrics above as a rule of thumb to prevent problems.

I would of hoped this guy would have already had these flowering by now, did you lst in the end dude?

I also thought they looked like trainwrecks till i looked up close, i loved these plants, perfect specimins to me, have we got any more pics for me to drool over dude?? Peace

I moved the outlet to the side, my box is small so I am doing the best and its my first setup, so I am changing this as I go along.

Now I am 3 weeks into 12/12... and I added a 150 HPS... Let me know what you think.
I have about 24" left in height, so I hope I have the room for them to finish, doing LST the best I can, but I have small pots... I will keep updating... Thanks

If at all possible, you might want to try and move it outside the box then. If can't, maybe something like a piece of stiff plastic under that grating placed at angle to be able to divert any splashes or drips as far away as possible. You could always make something like a gutter for the end of it to drain into a cup our something?

I know this is a hazard, and you all are right. I will run the wires out the back and seal it up. No use in getting this far and getting zapped. I will update some pics when I get it done... which will be soon....
