Is it Too Much??

i have 2 plants ive been growing and they have been flowering for about 3 weeks. i was using a 100W bulb (im broke). i upgraded to a 200W bulb. is that too much for 2, 16" plants?

no way..the more light the better...if you go buy even a couple 42 watt compact fluorescents you will get way more lumens (more light) and you will use less energy which will save some money on the electric bill...if you want to use 200 watts i'd recommend getting 4-5 of these 42W cfl's...and since your in flowering, get the warm colored ones ..hope this helped

correct..the more light you have the more bud you get..just make sure if your lights are really hot you keep em far enough away so you dont burn the plants...but thats also what makes the compact flourecents great for low budget...they plug into regular lamp fixtures such as the one u are using...they dont get very hot...they put off more light and less energy than standard home lightbulbs
