Is it too late?

I have just become legal, and germinated my bagseeds yesterday(8/1). I want to grow them outside, and haven't gotten a good answer yet.
How late is too late to start an outdoor crop. I am in Oregon, and am hoping these babies will grow to harvest outside, or am I too late? I can move them indoor if needed, just want the yield of an outdoor crop.

Well, I would be growing outdoors for the yield, would I get a bigger yield outdoors, or indoors if I started on the first of August?

You're too late to grow outdoors without a greenhouse. Even then, you're not going to get a full outdoor harvest of 1.5 to 10 lbs per plant.

Outdoor grows usually start sometime in mid April to early May. This year in Oregon the spring was HORRIBLE, hell, even June sucked.

Your plant probably won't finish before the rains. Maybe if the weather is good through to Novemeber... but I don't think you can plan on that, especially if you only have a single plant.

I hope its a feminized bean also. Odds are 2/3 that you have a male or a hermaphrodite, which isn't good news.

But if you can bring it indoors then I suppose you could use natural light until it starts flowering. Then you should just come indoors and run a 12/12. Probably around October 12th when the sunlight here in Oregon is 12/12 naturally.

you should still be able to plants beans...around this time is when they start fowering so what your pretty much doing is throwing plants into 12 12 right away.
