Is It Too Late To Top These?

As you can see the purple og's and the humbolt are older and more mature and i'm fearful that they will overcrowd the others when i decide to flip. I'd like to top for two reasons...

1. Give the younger ones more time to catch up and mature
2. Get more yield of course

I'd like to flip sooner than later because this grow room has been in use for about 3 full weeks now. What would any of you do in my situation here?

When should I top my Marijuana plant?

Planning your topping right can seriously increase the yield and overall size of your plant. You should top your plant anytime between when the 2nd & 5th set of leaves develop. Every plant strain reacts differently to topping, so when first starting off with a new strain, or if you have never topped a plant before, experiment. Try topping at different times, and different quantities.

Sativa and Sativa dominant hybrids will handle many toppings, while an Indica & Indica dominant hybrid will typically handle less.

great, so i'm hoping topping will buy me more time for the younger ladies. From what i understand it may take 3 - 7 days before the topped plants start vegging again, correct?

Should I top them all?

Does my logic to top the older plants to slow vegging down (and more yield) so the others can catch up sound ok?

Thanks Guys! One last question....should i top when my plants are sleep? I've read this is usually better because of the shift in hormones when the plant is sleep versus awake.

id do it after the lights come on thats when i usually do my pruning or clipping

i always top when lights are on, when you top the bigger plants they will stop growing upwards for abit (well will slow down) and will start to bush out, then they will grow upwards again but with atleast 2 main heads. mine normally pull there selfs round after 2-3 days.

Ok...so starting to see some vegging again. How long should i continue to let it veg now that these plants new tops are between 1" & 2" long? i want to flip these ladies ASAP but if i have to wait, i'll wait
