Is it too late for me to top/fim? (5 days untill flower)

So I'm 5 days from flowering and my girls are about 5-6" tall with 3-4 nodes each. Still small.
I have 3 of each strain (Hawaiian Kush and Nervana bubbalicious).
I had planned on topping one of each, fimming one of each and leaving the other 2 alone.
Or does anyone know what Nervana bubbalicious responds well to? Its so close to flowering I don't know if anything would be worth doing.
The picture is of my girls this morning. (a,c,f = HK / b,d,e = BL)
Thanks for reading

Those plants are pretty small to be 5 days away from flower. Is there any reason you want to flower in 5 days...?

Topping/fimming will set the plant back a few days growth wise, so if you plan on doing either of those things you probably want to increase your veg time. Flowering right now would almost be a waste because those plants are so small...and if you topped them today and flowered in 5 days, you'd probably be even worse off.

I love topping and fimming (along with supercropping) and highly recommend you do it to your plants. But you should veg them out for a few more weeks after you do it so your yield will be worth the effort.

I need to harvest before December is over because I am moving and moving flowering plants will be impossible.
So I guess I'll just leave them as is, if topping/fimming at this point would do more harm. I've heard of people super-cropping during flower but I don't have much to super-crop yet :/
You think I can get an ounce off of each if I switch to flower in 5 days? (which i have to:()

Why the hurry?

Just top now, and wait another week or 2.

Or you could LST instead, but by looking at them, it's hard to believe they are going to outgrow your space

FIM Tutorial (taking the guesswork out) FIM stand for (f*ck I missed), because it's a sloppy way of topping, but the process I describe here has been done for 1000's of years and it's actually called pinching. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Believe me if I had the time I'd veg them until they where taller than me, but I need to get these kids grown up and out of the house.

That's quite a bummer about having to move. How long do those strains take to flower?

I would say you've probably got to just bite the bullet and grow them out normally...which isn't really a bad thing. Whether or not you'll get an OZ off each plant is tough to say...there are lots of mitigating factors. Just keep them healthy and try to get the best quality bud you can...

The bubbalicous should take 2 months, I'm not sure about the Hawaiian Kush, It's bag seed but it was a super heavy indica so I'm thinking it will be about 2 months also (I hope).
So I'll leave em go and hope for an OZ outa' each. Thanks for the replies, +REP to you guys

Can you give me a quick explination of what lollipoping is? And do you think that vegging for that extra week and harvesting a week early would be better than harvesting on time with smaller plants?

Lollipopping is basically removing all the lower branches so the plant focuses its energy on the main stem/cola. Your plants don't appear to be big enough for lollipopping to make too much of a difference quite yet...

I would definitely veg as long as you can...if your shooting for harvesting BY the end the December, that means you have until December 31st right? That's over 3 months from now, so I think you've got time to veg for at least another week or two before making the switch.

Do some google searching and find out how long it took other people to flower your strains. Even if it takes 8 weeks you could begin flowering on October 1st (9 days) and be finished by the first week in December.

I'd say you've got a little leeway to veg for a bit longer.

Well I have until the 7th to be out and I wanted a little extra time in case I needed to flower a little longer.
So I guess the Latest I could do it would be October 12th...
Ok, you've convinced me to wait, I'll veg em at least until October 5th, maybe the 12th if I find out more about the flowering times for Hawaiian Kush.
Great, now I have to wait longer for them to finish! Thanks anyways, lol

Ok, now back to my original question... Should I be topping/fimming these plants now or should I wait? If I veg until October 5th they have 13 days left.

they are so small i serously doubt you could get an oz off each. if you vegged them to 12 mabey but even than i think it would take some luck and tons of light.

Alright, I'll look into lollipoping them in a couple of weeks and cross my fingers for close to an oz per plant, but I'll be fine with whatever I get this time around.
