is it to late to cut these fan leaves

it looks like you fried your plants, the leaves don't hinder bud growth they help it .
If your buds aren't forming properly it's not because of the fan leaves, it looks like you are overfertilizing your plants, what nutes and at what ratios, what's the pH of the water

I look at it as help vs hurt. If the hurt outweighs the help, it gets chopped.

HPS'S 20 or so CRI makes visual analyzation difficult.

av got a light meter in grow room and yes the light was not as strong below the fan leafs but they were still getting light av got a post in indoorgrowing at min with pics the post name is (1st time grower lr2 and ? 400w plus pics )

have a quick look see what you think of them :)

the plants arent fried the lamp isnt hitting the side thats not growing as well as the other side. two plants in the same system ones perfect while the other seems like its not getting as much light because of the bigger leaves.. thats why im wondering is it to late to cut the fan leaves.

your leaves look shitty, you can tell they are burned and have yellow around the edges. The leaves are integral for bud production, leave them...
