When they get a little bigger, you can top. but topping stresses the plant, which is never a good thing. Instead of topping, just carefully bend the main growing shoot (the one you'd top) over and tie it that way, so that it is facing down. That will achieve the same results as topping without causing the plant any undue stress. :-)

is that wut lst is? and i was thinkin about it but then scared it was gonna snap it off, is that why wait a little big so it gets longer or what? so topping the plant might throw it to be a male?
