Is it time to harvest?

Hello there, i am new to the site. This is my first indoor grow, i have don a few outdoors when i was younger.
Just came over from the growery.org, fuck that site. I have a few plants in hydro that something was going wrong with, tried to get help from them and my plants ended up dying. Well they are actually still dying, but i don't think its irreversible at this point. I may post some pictures of them in the hospital section to get some advice.

But anyways i have plants which are doing great still, the soil girls, glad i did half hydro half soil.


So this is my lady that is farthest along, it is an unknown bagseed that i have grown 2 times before, I have named her First Lady Diesel(due to looks and taste) she is 100 days old, and on her 54th day of flowering. heres some bud porn for u guys to look at, tell me what you think. I've got some other ones too if anyone wants me to post em, a diesel ryder autorflower, sensi star in veg, and Wappa 4 weeks into flower.

I'd agree with about another two weeks, watch the trichomes.

and what exactly am i lookin for just the color of them? will the buds keep getting fatter n such?

The calxyes will swell a bit more, but when you look at the trichomes through at least 30x magnification (a pocket microscope from Radio Shack for 12 bucks goes 30x to 100x)., you want to see Some Cloudy and some Amber. Here is a photo to show you when to harvest.

Just keep an eye on the trichs harvest when they are the way you want it(cloudy trichomes for head high amber for couch lock), watch for the pistils to receed back into the calyx. they should beef up a lil if there really is a week-2 left. they swell during the last 1-2 weeks of flower

and i said up there its like 30:70 amber to white, um i just want the fattest nugs, and u kno the most weight, but still like good fuckin weed.

oh ive got a scope, the 420 scope it goes from like 60-100 i think, on some buds its more like 15% amber to 85% white, and on others its closer to 30:70.

i dont think your buds are going to get a ton bigger, they will loose weight and shrink you dry them too keep that in mind. look fire tho

i know they'll shrink when i dry them...

I'm going to give them another week and chop her down. i was hoping to today, its day 55 of flower but i will extend it a week.

I could have been giving her nutes for an extra week it looks like. I'll give her one last good dose of snowstorm ultra and gravity, and a little molasses tonight,
and then give her one last flush in 4 days.

Yeah give them more time, wait for the hairs to turn 70-80% brown.

i remember when i got this nug the first time like 3 years ago, it was a really sweet smelling weed, like candy. It was loaded with trichromes, a nice light green color and lots of FAT red hairs, it was a very vibrant looking nug. It has the same sweet smell and taste now, gets me way more baked now tho then the original nug. I can't wait till the hairs start turnin red and brown, i hope it gets the same fat red hairs that the original nugs had.

What are they looking like now bud?
