Just theres somethings that i belive in or just realized that its a no brainer. I used to be a noob once and i listend to some dude that told me never to flush.
And like any noob i listened and it was the worst taste and the smoke burned my lungs!
Its a good thing that i had already flushed with my previous plants and i knew the difference.
So from that point on i tried another bach by flushing and the other not flushed and gave it to all my friends and family to try and all stated that the flushed one was better and complaints about the one i didnt flush.
I cant belive u guys cant tell the difference..
Like seriously i never heard of such a thing comming from a nother site nobody argues about it.
They might have some opinions but not this bad.
This isn't helmuts brother that logged on to his account again right? I remember last time he said no flushy! Then all of a sudden flushy! Lol

Aint it way past ur bed time lill guy??
Yeah, getting close...I"ll speed this up. Your weed back in the 90s that didn't smoke good after not flushing was because you sucked at drying/curing. You don't need to wonder why other people think unflushed weed tastes better anymore, now you know.

Thank you for the reply Dr. Is there a specific humidity you're trying to achieve in the jars? And are they also kept in that 70+/- room when cracked? I see other growers have made simple jars with HM display built into the lid. I'm happy to do that and I also have no problems creating a specific climate room to dry in. Do you dry the whole plant as one, or cut branches? Do you trim wet or dry?

Excuse me if you've since answered the above questions, the thread seems to have taken a turn.

Thanks if you can help

I do it like this.
I dry in a specific area with the temps at 70F with normal indoor swing, say +/- 3F
The RH is kept around a target of 60% and 50 to 70% is held....
I dry till the stems "crack" and not "bend" - I target this to take about 10 -14 days (The amounts dried at one time effect this time. If It takes less time to dry.....Raise temp and RH by 5 & 5 and see how that does......It needs to take at LEAST 7 days!

I cure buy putting the dried product in Mason jars and sealing them...
Everyday they are cracked open for about 3-5 min and the tops are only "off to the side" and not completely off.
I do this for 2 weeks.....
Try it at 1 weeks and keep some going for another week.....You should "see" a difference in the 2......i think the 2 week is stronger and more intense.....If the product gets too dry and "crumbly" - Bovita packs work well......I don't have that problem as I use 1/2 and 1 gallon Mason's

This is what I don't understand. Everybody I know who smokes can tell the difference, or at least that there is a big difference. Everybody I know who grows around here does water only on their last shot before chopping, because it makes a huge difference. Especially the hydro guys... they swap to plain water for a couple days before chopping because of the difference it makes, which is plain as day.

So the argument here is less about truth than it is one group of like minded people trying to convince/intimidate/harass a couple others to believe what they do... it's a pack mentality... and their fanaticism about this is rather creepy. I ran into in the same thing in the Concetrates forum when I dared criticize Rosin. And the worst part is that they degenerate the argument to infantile insults, comments about mothers and so on... And physical threats.... oh I real life I would kick your ass mo fo... it's like their all 12 years old or something...

Anyway, I don't know how I let myself get sucked into this BS. At least I got my point across well enough to the OP to just do an experiment on his own and decide for himself if flushing makes a difference or not.

Dude you keep ignoring me. Did you click on that link?

If you read my earlier post you would see that I said flush doesn't work the way it's regurgitated on the forum.

What it can help do is starve the root zone of oxygen forcing the plant to begin its curing process while it's still alive

I believe it takes a couple weeks of being depleted of 02 for that to take place, doing a flush 4 days before chop is just feel good bro science.:dunce:

One watering with plain water before the chop isn't going to make a difference. Maybe it could make a difference if the alternative was a 2.0 EC feeding right before harvest? That's not good gardening though and I don't think the non-flushing crowd is advocating a strong feeding right before harvest. That's just a waste of plant food, IMO.

Oh this is rich, We have been fighting with a complete NOOB, he has never even made a clone https://www.rollitup.org/t/today-is-the-day.884712/

HOW IN THE FUCK, you going to come in here and argue with experienced growers and you have never even made a cut before. I'm more disappointed in myself for fighting with a fucking rookie that doesn't know shit and is still wearing diapers in the growing world.

Complete noob? Hardly. 5 years experience is not a complete noob.

Incidentally, the flower in that pic was AK47 that foxtailed. It was 21 grams dry. Might not be the prettiest one youve ever seen, but i dont know why looks would matter or how you can control looks as a grower. Maybe you might know more about controlling looks than i do being the super all knowing grower that you are.

Anyway...your attack is typical.. if the jackals on this site. When you cant intimidate sombody to share your opinion then attack his credibility. But you do so in a manner that is not only obvious but also infantile...and the result is thatvyou undermine your own credibility chuckey eztevez....

Dry and cure it RIGHT!

NO Tobacco is EVER flushed......The best cigar tobacco's are cured for YEARS and command prices that would make your local dealer shit his pants!

Your only making yourself look stupid.......
So what is your personal curing technique?
