Hahahahahahahah.... wtf!!??? No science needed. It is experience. Mine. As well as a number of others i grow with.

You trying to split hairs. You read a couple article and you think your an expert. Or maybe you even have a degree... who the fuck cares...

You dont need to understand the science to discern a difference between one and the other. Just try it ....because obviously you havent. Two plants of the same strain is all you need. Flush one out 4 or 5 days before you chop. Dont bother with the other...

See what happens...
just answer 1 question, why do the leaves turn yellow when you flush, but the buds don't?

is it the last watering before chop, or 4 or 5 days before you chop or 2 weeks, is it run mass amounts of water thru the pot, or just use water?

I said a couple times now...flush 4 or t days before chopping. Not sure how else to say it....

If the plant is in a 5 gal pot then i run about 2.5 gals through... 4 or 5 days later i chop... that simple....

Science is needed. Your "flushing experience" can be a placebo effect or a "feel good" experience that you find it necessary to repeat.

Regurgitating that crap simply because it's posted all over cannabis forums does not make it valid
Ok to summarize you're smart if you flush..
And dumb ass fuck not to flush!
U really think ur gonna get a massive yeild the last week of harvest and thats why u guys dont flush???
Makes no fucking sense!
Why would you risk having harsh smoke?
Even if that wasn't the case why not do it anyways?

I suspect these guys dont grow. If they did they wouldve tried this flushing voodoo and wouldve found that it is actually just common sense...

You can choose whatever word of vulgarity you like. I'm neither insulting your intelligence not calling you a name for your choice in flushing.

I'm just trying to provide evidence as to why flushing doesn't work the way it is regurgitated on the forum.

Did either of you 2 flushers click on the link me and the doc posted?

Seriously. Should I go flush my apple trees and pumpkins? This the season. Oh wait, when researching " flushing plants" its all links to here and other stoner sites. Weird, I guess all of the agricultural operations in the world are missing something.

If your weed "pops" or doesn't burn right, try drying it more instead of going on a campaign of lies with your poor plants.
do you pump your apple trees and pumpkins with nutrients ? didnt think so and all these fucking people always coming in and saying not to flush when he didnt ask if he should flush or not he asked if it was time to flush he didnt ask if you all believed in flushing i find it depends alot on what your actually feeding them but if like me you have them on a heavy feeding then i would say to definately flush but when i say flush i mean clean plain water at the same amount as when u was feeding with nutes as people say flush 3-4 times the pot volume i use ripen for 1 week and then 7 - 10 days just water and i can actually speak from my own experience once i had to chop without having flushed and the taste and smoke was very very disapointing and since then i will never chop until i have flushed period , and yes drying and curing is the main thing to getting a good smoke but i definately find its smoother and better smoke having flushed but
back to the actual question imo i dont think they are ready for flush yet but hard to tell by pics really

i would say at least another week before starting to flush look at the pistils they shouls start to recede as the buds swell looking at the pics if it was me i would prob feed for another 2 weeks and then 1 week to 10 days flush the last few weeks is where it really packs on the weight and swells out

Do you pump your cannabis plants full of nutrients? If you do then that's your problem, not whether you 'flush' or 'don't flush'.
and yes i do pump my plants full of nutes but never heard anyone feeding there apple trees the full line up of nutes boosters and additives

no problem mate you asked a simple question but sum people on here find it hard to actually answer the question and in stead end up taking the thread in a different direction feed for another week and get back to me with pics and il tell you what i think in a week mate but def at least another week beforeflushing

I can't believe the word "flush" caused all this. I've been reading all these post while sitting in my botany class at school. Here's what I will do:
This grow is going to get plain water for the last water only.

For my next grow I will plant 10 seeds of the same strain. From there I will pick out the best lady, clone her, and grow six plants from there. I will flush one 2 weeks prior, one 10 days prior, one 7 days prior, one 3 days prior and two without a flush. I will commence tests on yield, flavor, aroma, and burn quality. We will have answers from there.
mate if u plant seeds they will all grow different and you wont actually be able to run a test with seeds you need to run clones from the same plant to get the same genetics just because the seeds are the same strain doesnt mean nothing mate some will grow taller some shorter some bushy some not so if you planted 20 seeds you will prob find that not 3 plants grow the same
