I was thinking earlier how everyone is putting up pics of their plants and their grow rooms. isnt there a way the authorities can track down your ip address and find out where you live? or does RIU have some type of ip address protection? I know no one has been caught but do they still have the power to do that?

am i just being paraniod about the whole idea?

well you are using a proxy to come to this site right? If not you should be so your ip is hidden and replaced by a temp one. A common mistake people make is to just browse right to these sites leaving trails to who they are and where they live. Basically as long as you use the common knowledge of proxies and being vague your ok and dont do a massive huge grow and tell eveyone its in your basement or yard as that just begs to be picked out.

If you have a big grow room I might be worried, if you are a single plant for personal use kind of person, I doubt they'd waste the resources on you.

use the free proxies. i like to sign through 3 differenet at one time. I go to one type the addy of the next proxy then type addy to the next one then the addy to the site. i also delete all cookies history temp files and offline store files everytime I logo off. Then do a good drive clean and never book mark anything and make sure all history is gone.

i just think that theres so many people on here and from so many different places that no single state authorys could find someone because by the time they do all the reserch to find someone worth busting they'd live out of the state or in amsterdam, or may have a medical grow but i may be wrong

Spending money on killing nature just doesn't seem right to me

wouldnt probably be a local authority but more then likely a division of intranet web monitoring under a few names even homeland security

ya that makes alot sense. im sure they are just after the huge pot dealers.

i see huge grows on here, they dont get busted. dont worry man think about how many people are on riu and then think how many of us have grows, now think about how possible it is that a good portion of these people just post random pics on here they found elsewhere on the web. lying isnt illegal, neither is reposting non-copyright pictures on the web and neither isgrowing cannibis for medical use.
