Yes you can buy Recreational concentrates(1000mg per day) and one edible(up to 15mg) per a day in oregon.

Not in Oregon here but I know the one thing about medical conditions, they have to be professionally diagnosed and documented. Sometimes it can be as easy and going to the doctor and telling them symptoms. It's real easy to even lie about it but the doctors usually know and just want your money. If you're honest you have nothing to worry about. All you have to do though is if you don't like the doctor then see a new one that is more compassionate. If you take any controlled substances especially pain medication you will want to find a doctor that is known to be cool with both, or not even tell them you smoke or have a card. I find the best route is to find a doctor you can be honest with. Fibromyalgia can definitely cause chronic pain. If you have it documented you should be able to get legal in any state that supports medical. Good luck on your journey!

A lot of doctors cannot refer you because the clinic they work through doesn't allow with them however they are allowed to write in your chart notes, then you just request a free copy of your chart notes and send notes made within 90 days to the ommp. At least that's what I did successfully this year...

Im curious, you say you did not need to go through a clinic. My brother had a torn meniscus and still has pain to this day. I will be his caregiver so as long as he gets approved for the card.

As long as he gets a medical release from his Dr. do you recommend he send that with the other required forms to OMMP? Instead of going through a card service...

There are two options, if the doctor is willing to sign and fill out the doctor recomendation for MMJ then use that, but if he's not (not many are), then as long as on his chart notes the doctor writes that marijuana seems to help with his symptoms (in this case pain) he's fine. He'll just need to send the full chart notes (I used a highlighter tab for the places where the doctor said MJ seemed to help with X and Y but I'm all sorts of OCD...) along with an application packet, and the corresponding payment. He doesn't need to send anything else (though note the chart notes need to be within the last ~90 days from date of submission.)

It saved me $200, and I didn't have to give my "business" to people whose beliefs I have deep issues with so I heartily suggest it.
