Beautiful looking plants, and I’m going to go against the general opinion here and say I’d wait another week.. a lot of those trichs are still glassy and I recon there’s a touch more swell to come.. but it will be awesome smoke either way. Love your work
Yea I saw a lot of clear trichs still. I was wondering about that.

For lots of different reasons, a lot of plants will not progress in their trichome stages in a linear fashion. Overall health of the plant, genetics, environmental specs, etc. all influence the finish.
The plant looks ready to me but pics are no substitute for seeing in person.
Rarely do growers let their plants grow too long, but I’ve let plants go several weeks beyond my usual standard, in hopes of more amber trichs. The amber trichs never came and there was a noticeable loss of terps.
Id chop and be happy for a nice looking run.

You’re always always going to have some clear trichs. If the buds have went through their swell (yours have) and all the pistils are brown and receded, you’re in a window. Depending on lots of factors, your terps will be optimal for a limited period of time…..after which, they begin to degrade.

I'd take tops and give anything middle down longer.

Spread the work load.

I'd also wear marigolds and then leave them to dry and stretch them to get all the lovely finger resin.. which will blow your mind.

Every strain produces different finger resin, somes powdery , somes oily.. it's all super strong
