You got a few weeks. what day exactly of flower.

You got time to get the magnification scope but Google Image it they go from water droplet to milky, to amber. that is what impacts your potency next to curing IMO.

You have done a good job with your gurls, just keep doing it for a few more weeks (at least). Please do not starve them and let the leaves turn yellow. I also think doing the final long dark period is nonsense and more canna superstition.

I can't buy a magnifier until I get paid in 2 weeks.. I don't know what trichs look like.
Your camera looks like it takes pretty good pictures. You may be able to take closeups and blow them up on your computer screen to see the tricombs colors.

In the home stretch so much of the the nutrients goes into bud production it takes away from other functions so the leaves change accordingly

Wait until fan leaves start to yellow? Do I need to leave them in the dark for a few days before I clip or can I clip it when it is in light too?
You'll know when to chop when scenescence sets in (yellowing of leaves) also the pistils will recede into the buds. Once you see it a few times it'll be second nature. Also don't be so worried about scoping trichs. some strains won't even amber or will take ridiculous amount of time to do it and by that point the degradation is so bad that you're losing THC. I bought into all that stuff when I first started out too and I haven't touch my scope in many many years. Pic 1 (sativa)has a few weeks to go. Those pistils will Orange up and most of them will disappear. Pic 2 (Indy) is much closer. Maybe a a week or less. What ferts are you using?

The sense is strong already lol. I use 2-3-3 blue moon bloom. The hairs are brown on the bottom of the plant with some white hairs. But the tops of the plant are still white hairs.
