Is it possible to yield one-pound or more in a 10gal. Pot

Being a newbie cultivator i sometimes have questions that need answers,,ha ha, i love this new hobby that im venturing in, but there is still so much to learn, and still so many "new ways" to try things for the care & love of gods sweet gift for man on earth.

I love to achieve great accomplishments at full potential but at minimum money out the pocket, my question is it possible to yield one-pound or more from a 10gal. Pot. Ive heard the bigger the pot the bigger the tree, but if ive seen 1 1/2 pound yield from one plant in a 15gal bucket(1month veg,2month flower_fim,top,supercrop, great nutes), im sure i can yield a pound from a 10gal pot..right??

I've yielded more than a pound on plants when I used to run large outdoor grows in 10-15 gal pots (but mostly used 20-30), but of course outdoors has a much, much longer veg period.

I personally don't know anyone who has grown a pound+ plant indoors after only a month of veg, but I sure would like to hear from people who have (strain, light, feed, medium etc).

I have, not from one plant though. Last run I did an experiment and ran 11 of my ladies sharing 2 gallons of soil, about a 3 in layer spread out..they each pulled 2-3ozs. But they were seriously root bound it became a huge problem. Upping temps and airflow to increase transpiration, foliar feeding 3 times a day, and pumping your water into the roots, nute concentration right below the point of burn. Soooo yes anythings possible if you put your mind to it

actually it was a video on youtube, showing you how to yield over a pound using super cropping. If you look up this channel on youtube: HygroHybrid and the video name is Training 1+ POUND canabis plant..you will see what im talking about..its pretty knowledgable.. good luck

005.jpg004.jpgwell I have a white Russian in a 10 gal smart pot I looks like it might be close. I have a few others that are in 10-15 gal pots but I don't think I'll get that much off those. The ones in the ground and boxes are going to be heavy...I hope. So to answer your question...I think you'll be able too, maybe more..what does your plant look like?

your girls are looking lovely so far..I def need to get my pics on here..well this grow that im doing right now will have 2month veg & sept-oct to flower..so the question im asking is really for next years grow that im going to do indoor..I have a blueberry about 4.5ft tall in a 25gall smart pot (outdoor), also some purple candy in a 25gal smart pot but its only about 3.5ft tall.(outdoor).this is my first grow so idk what to expect yet,,ya kno..but im planing to keep my Tahoe OG & purple diesel in veg from now through winter until next year grow cycle, and put them in 100gal smart pots to get some massive yields..i also have (3) 10GAL smart pots for my 3 tahoe OG that are getting 1month veg & will harvest this year.. so these 10gal i have right now i might just use for indoor grow next year if i can get a pound from that pot

This is essentially what I was used to seeing in my outdoor crops. I appreciate you sharing :)

Well indoor is another set of issues. The container size is one thing but the other is you lights, if you want big yields. What is your setup going to be indoors? That would help to answer some of your questions. looking forward to seeing your grow.

Thanks spek9, It's been a struggle this year. I put them out to early and had to deal with the regeneration issues and pruning off all the crap that left...I think I'll be alright now. Are you growing this year? I've talked to a few Canadian growers and they've been having some problems with the weather.

the plan is to use 1-2 1000watters hps, but use mps for veg to gettem bushy, i only want 1plant per 1000wat light so i maximum yield..but this probably wont be until feb 2014...cant wait

You would be good with 4 under each light too. Don't know how much room you'll be working with but I would say 4. I have a couple of 1000 watt switchable systems. You'll have some good production with those...good luck

Know this is old but pretty much everyone of my mates that grows achieves that. That's the goal atleast in my town. Lights are a 600W MH then. 600W hps per plant so 9 in a room with 9 plants so 1 per m² ina. Scrog. Need 50L or bigger pots think 15 galleon. DWC or standard hydroponics (soil less.medium above aerated nutrient Rich water) strains I would have to check but Swim said really only doable with co2 enrichment as it saved him 3 weeks veg time. But here it's all about low plant count as that's how the laws are set

That's a bit over kill 600W will do per plant. Better have more lower wattage sources of light. Imo atleast. Use the extra 400w to suppliment with a CMH or something. A mix of light gives best results I find
