Is it possible to make the canna butter to strong?? ganj bakers help please

So I have been saving stuff for a while and I know if you make canna butter and then make it again using the same butter it becomes more concentrate. But at what point is to much? I have a rack of trim/lower flowers saved... Christmas is here but I dont want to waste it. Would it be better to make separate batches like split it in into a z or 2 per stick or butter? Or load it all in one stick? I probably got like 4oz for baking lol I usually do a oz or so per stick depending on the potency.

I know your looking for an answer, but I'm curious as well. My only thought would be at some point your butter wouldn't be able to absorb all the THC, so you would end up wasting.

Just trying to throw my two cents in. Now some one hook this brotha up with some numbers.

Your butter has a fat content, as such only a certain amount of THC can become bonded with the fat or whatever the technical term would be.

To save from worrying about wasting your trim, just make a larger batch of butter and eat more cakes if necessary. You've been given a chance to eat more cake or cookies than a regualr responsible person would, ding ding! I never liked the idea of edibles because you have one that's it, i want to sit down and eat for 20 minutes :D

I would go the opposite direction. Make a small batch of cannabutter, and then do it again, and again, and again, and see how strong it turns out. If it turns out fackin' retarded then fantastic, if it comes out normal, then meh, it's worthless. I may do this with the trim from my current grow, I always end up blowing 3 or 4 ounces, sometimes more, trying to get the ultimate edible experience.

I ate a brownie years ago that made me see colors and had me high for 24+ hours. I don't know how they got the one brownie so strong, but I remember it tasted absolutely fucking disgusting and knocked me on my ass. I've been trying to replicate it for years now and all I get is a little buzz off the edibles I make. I've tried throwing 2 ounces of straight up buds in and it didn't seem to make the butter much stronger. I like the idea of just going through the process multiple times with the same butter, I may try that.

1 oz a stick is pretty strong...so 2 a stick seems like it would be close to the max. I don't know that anyone really knows what the saturation point is though.

0z to a 1 lb. is average. = 1/4 a stick.

2oz. to a 1 lb. I'd assume would be the obnoxious point IMO, assuming it's top notch trim/bud.

To get the strongest high you'd have to extract with a special solvent I forget the exact one; but water is mediocre; alcohol is pretty good, avg butter not that good.

I like coconut oil. It burns easy; but is 90+% saturated fat which allows for more thc bonding! So I use it instead of reg oil in brownies. You need to use a crockpot or a double burner; 1 big pot with water and a second smaller pot w/ oil in the water filled pot.

That keeps it from burning by keeping it below 212 degrees.

Well few people will be able to accurately how much THC etc can bind to the fat, because butters carry a wide range of fat contents, and even then i do not know what quantity of THC can bind to each gram of fat, and then i don't know what kind of quantity of THC etc there is in the 2 0z of raw material.

Well they're alkaloids some bind to water; some to oil; most to solvents beyond alcohol and water.

Oil is pretty decent, because you don't have to filter the extraction with solvents, rather just a cotton filter.
