It's Sunday so let's kick it off!!

That football players girlfriend was wailing on him in that elevator. Didnt she have some sort of responsibility for being in control? Is she going to be brought up on assault charges as well? It is clear that she hit him first, doesnt he have a right to defend himself? Is size the dermining factor? What if she injured him in some way that reduced his contract by millions of dollars?

Why is it politically correct for some people to be completely out of control while it is forbidden for others?

i saw the video. it's weird as fuck how i can watch the same video and not see her wailing on him. she ran at him maybe hit him once. but wailing on him i think not. she gave him a tap across the mouth before they get in the elevator that's it. Basically you hallucinate reality.

I've been hearing this from Lions fans for many years. It's only a matter of time until CJ gets hurt and/or Stafford comes back to reality and starts sucking. It must be rough being a Lion fan. You might go 9-7.

I didn't see any wailing either, but even so in sake of debate I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt and say she was the aggressor. So she slaps at Rice, and he knocks her the eff out. Ok, maybe she had it coming... But...
Look at the way he acts AFTER? If you knocked your fiancee out cold, wouldn't you have some type of caring reaction?
"OH SHIT" "BABY YOU OK" "DAMN I DIDN'T MEAN TO HIT YOU LIKE THAT!".... or something?

His lack of emotional response is what really bothered me about it. Not that I liked that he hit her... but the reaction took the cake.

I've watched about 90% of lions games in the last 5 years. they are always great for the first half of the season (except for the 0-16 season lmao) and then they implode in new ways never seen before. maybe we get lucky and this new coach can change that. I'd be happy with a vikes super bowl as long as it isn't the packers or bears.

I admit, it's fun watching the Lions, especially Stafford, implode. Johnson is a beast. Without him, Stafford is marginal at best.

As for the coach turning the franchise around, I say the same thing every time the Vikings hire a new coach. It never happens. But hey, this is the year. We have a new defensive minded head coach and Norv Turner running the offense. What could go wrong? LOL!

The video clearly shows that the chick slapped him across the face while he was just standing there checking out what appears to be an Ipod.

In the elevator she comes at him not once, but TWICE, as if to strike at him, with the second time resulting in the TKO. It looks to me like she got knocked off her feet and hit the elevator hand rail or whatever, which was responsible for knocking her dumb ass out.

IF that dumb cunt was a dude, and did the exact same thing, people would be laughing at him for obviously fucking with a bigger dude.

IF it was the dude that slapped that dumb cunt in the face for no reason, got confronted in the elevator, hit, and knocked out on the hand rail, then people would be laughing at him and screaming "You go gurl!!!! Gurl power!!!"

But that's not the way it happened.

Dumb bitch got EXACTLY what she deserved and NEEDED.

That dumb bitch THOUGHT she could abuse that dude and slap him around and she got CHECKED, and she KNOWS this, which is why she didn't press charges, and why she STILL married the dude.

Yes, it was unacceptable. But I think the level it is being taken to is quite ridiculous.

There are players back in the league after they participated in dog fighting. There are players in the league under indictment for murder (maybe not in the league).

Having him lose his career (which affects her too since she married him) and demanding the commissioner step down from office is in my opinion, a ridiculous amount of blow back for what is essentially a simple or aggravated assault.

If it had been a guy hitting him it would have ended up as a youtube funniest video.

Our society is swinging to a mob mentality fueled by the anonymity of the internet.

She was going off on him and hit him once or twice. It is hard to tell in the video because it is time lapse but you can figure out what is going on.

Are you trying to step into a grey area here? She hit him but only a little bit? How much should she be able to hit him? Can he not fight back until she has a weapon?

Have you ever watched Cops? They ask the 2 people in a domestic violence case if they hit each other and usually one or both go to jail with the first one hitting the other definitely going in for assault. They cops dont evaluate how hard one person hit another.

So again... Should she be responsible for her actions?

But in this case, he responded with overwhelming force. he is a trained athlete. I think he can control his body a little bit better than that.
