is it ok to switch 4 week old cheese plants light cycle from 24/7 to 16/8?

Thanks for the advice, so how much longer should they be left to veg, the aim is to yield around 3-4oz per plant, and all 4 x 600w lights will be used during flowering :)

Just wondering do you ever move your plants around under the light? The ones directly under look full, the ones on left and right look sparse of folaige.

not really no, occasionally but i think i shall start doing so more often. How much longer should they veg for roughly to get 3-4oz per plant?

That is too difficult to predict. Final yield isn't exclusively linked with the size of the plant before it was put into flower. If you have no idea what to expect, I would start flowering them sooner rather than later. Once they get to a certain size, they might become difficult to manage.

You'll be able to tweak your methods according to your needs as you complete grows. You should do what AimAim said and rotate the plants around the room so they're all exposed to a similar amount of light over time.

I mean the process of cultivating a few small plants vs almost a dozen trees. Feeding is easier, maintaining ph levels, moving them around for better light exposure, training techniques, pest/disease control, airflow between plants preventing bud rot during flower, ... all these things become more arduous as the number and size of the plants you're cultivating increases.
