so now all i do is stick it in soil really close under the light 24/0 and im good, often shopudl i water it?
No, you do not put under light right away, put pot w/ seed in another dark area and wait until it sprouts up then put it under lighting..They can sprout under light put chances are way better in a dark area..Roots HATE lights!!

i got my seed on a plate, and if this is stupid flame me for it, but the seed that I have in the moist paper towel looks overall alot bigger than all the other ones i have that I haven't used yet, it's been there for about 4 days with water in the paper towel for most part of the day, how long will this "root" be when the time is good to put it in soil?

anyone got a a pic perhaps of what it should look like?
Here's my 2 widow that i just planted today

k well, i might have messed up, i put it on a plate in paper towel and kept it pretty moist for the most part, under a fat light, im gonna try the ziplock trick
Honest mistake. Its important to keep your pregerminated seed in darkness. One time I had butter fingers and one seed fell to the ground and got residual light from my 400 MH for several hours. Then lo and behold it did not germinate where 12 others did. Que sera sera LoL..

Dis Is What I Do And My Seeds Always Pop I Get A Plastic Plate And A Paper Towel And I Put The Seeds In The Paper Towel Than I Wet The Paper Towel With Room Temp Water Than Set The Plate In The Window Seal To Get Natural Light And Like 24 To 2 Days I Always Have Poppers But Make Sure To Keep The Paper Towel Damp Always

WOW holy shieeet that was fast, ok, i put it in darkness in soil with the root down about 1 inch into the soil. i checked on it about 3 hours ago, and there was nothing coming from above the soil so i decided to go to the store and pick up some better soil and a black plastic jiffy pot thing...and when i came back to do the switch from the old soil to the new better soil, it had sprouted out of the top, pretty cool how fast this works i thought it might be a couple days, so i carefully took it out of the old soil and it was like 2 inches long in total and replanted it..so it's only about 1/4 of an inch out of the soil, what's the best time to start the light? right now or should i still wait a little bit?

once its above the soil I would go ahead and use the light....... just a question have you done any research on your own dont wanna sound like a bitch but I have had no prior growing history and these questions are fairly simple compared to what your going to be dealing with like nut deficency and how much of the hairs need to turn before picking, and is it male or female.... so please for your own benefit look at all the info you can on this site so that you have somethin under your belt
