i have to harvest my plants soon so i just needed to know because idk how i could hang it.
is it necessary to hang bud upside down when drying?

probably not. does it need to be hung or can i just lay it out?

Hanging your finished grow upside down is not a must at all. It is simply the best way to pre dry your shit several reasons. None of which is to drain resin to the tops (old wives tale). The main reason is convenience and trichome gland protection and bulbous, capitate preservation.
You see when you hang your buds upside down many of the resin coated single, triple and even quin leaves wrap the mass calyx formations forming a mini bud barrier so to speak. This also makes your buds more aesthetically pleasing in addition to helping protect the long awaited NECTAR!!!

if you wana lay it down you have.to lay it.on a screen and turn it over every day or half day. plus you have to keep the screen eleivated like a screen shelf. it sucks a flatens your buds string and hanging is the best way you.could use tape but i could just see the.tape failing in the middle of the night and you wake up to all your buds on the floor.
