Is it enough room ?

I'm getting ready to order a few things and worried that I may not have enough room so looking for some input. My tent will be the Lighthouse Hydro 2.5' x 1.5' x 3'. I'll be using 2 gallon superoots air pots. 9'' tall, and last but not least I'm getting the Blackstar 240w LED panel. From what I've read it's no larger than 3'' tall. between the light and the pots that already takes away a foot and leaves me with two feet grow space. If I build my scrog 8 inches above the plants (I'm going to grow 2) that leaves me me about 1' 4" I know I have to leave some sort of space between the light and the plants and using the scrog will help but I'm just not sure if that will leave me enough grow room for the colas. Will I be alright with this size tent ? I could probably go for the next tent size up, it's 5 foot tall. I just have to try and stay stealth so I don't want my grow area too big. Is the 3' tent going to be tall enough to accomplish my goal or should i go wit the 5' tent ?

never done anything with led so i am not sure about how the internodes grow...............but yes get the larger tent............the spourt itself can be anywhere from 3 to 4 inchs just starting off

may i say u look into auto plants since they are predictable 5 6 internodes( lvls between leaves/branches) and then it enters flower

I'm using autoflower now. my current setup is a 3' tall box running cfl's. I've got a few autoflowers in there now and they are just over a foot tall and about a week into flowering. i have 8 inches between the lights and the top flower and other than that im out of room, thats why im going to the led and going to try the scrog method. i just want to make sure i have enough room for future grows (this is my first) and not sure about how far away the leds have to be

i will try to help yah .....i need to learn myself ....looks like 1 foot this is going off pics and 4 sites i was able to quick read ...........working on hid lamps so has some on leds as a vs thing

ok with a auto plant some are oz some are 400 grams ........from reading sounds like 1000watts of leds is equals 600watt hid ....it should grow very well but the fan leaves will be little darker then excepted and much thicker

height u need more ............u are looking to one or 2 plants i would say to get the 3x3x5 feet or bigger..........i work off the 1.5 square for each plant when it bushes or doing a scrog system with it one plant 1.5 feet of area sqaured............this will give u the best results and yeild .........i have not done the numbers with led but it what i have seen off the front the numbers should still apply

can i grow autos under a scrog ?

yes but look for the ones that are 90 days .....the 60 day ones will be to short just best to top those or let it go natural
