Is it common for a lady to start slow? Plant foreplay... before growth

Gonna agree with @Herb & Suds ... if you grew from seed, then prob just a bad pheno. Pretty common after growing hundreds of plants from seed. Its very rare to see the whole seed pack grow exactly the same.... Same parents, but different phenos.. It's just like having 10 kids, they're not all gonna be the same.
I have just two kids and can affirm what you say is true! 10 kids would just be bananas. No way I could feed that many angry mouths... and they do GET ANGRY when they're not fed what they want.
Kids suck... well, sometimes they don't. haha

Most real women prefer this, do plants as well?
Do they like slow foreplay before the act? Of growing quickly that is, haha.

Reason why I ask. I have 5 different species growing at once, three are superior in growth speed than the other two.
I have one plant that after three weeks of growth still only has one node and 4 leaves (total). It does appear to be speeding up though. I almost destroyed it, but its showing signs of promise now.

So many factors could cause this, but how common is it a plant starts incredibly slow, but speed up over time... dare I say, catches up with the others?
Or, is a runt a runt... thoughts?
males will usually grow taller but you cant see that. or you can have a retard like my current grow and it will be small almost whole grow.none of it will tell you if its a female flower.best to do is 12/12 and see

reason to be slow could be too strong of nutes at the start it can fuck up a plant.

Most of my seedlings start really slow. I was just talking to a buddy about this the other day; i FINALLY have a seedling that's comparable in size to most i see posted. Here, I'll show you;
Here's a crappy pic of a seedling 7 days from drop. This is what i usually get size-wise.

I have another seedling that looked like this at day 6

This by far the most growth I've had after 1 week of dropping a seed.

Either way, they always "catch up".
