Just seeing if anyone knows if its cheaper to run your grow with a generator or just using your house electricity.
Hydro company?Until generator tech takes a huge step forward buying hydro is cheaper.
In an off grid location where u need to spend big money bringing hydro in then I'd say battery bank solar/wind and used oil converted generator would be a real option.
Most people use generator to avoid the hydro company knowing your insane usage not because it's cheaper.
I agreeHydro company?
Electricity companies are in the business of selling electricity. They're not gonna care if you use a significantly higher amount of electricity than those around you, as long as you pay your bill.
Is that your bug?I agree
Okay, that makes sense.i think canadians call the electric company the hydro company?
It's my old car I have a couple of them now. U a dub fan?Is that your bug?
Had a couple of them back in the day. My baby was a slammed '63, seafoam(beryl) green, pan off resto, with a 1914 w/ porsche fan shroud. Then some uninsured tweaker lost control around a corner and totaled it. I window shop thesamba almost daily though. I'll have another one some day, but for now, it's a Honda and a Tacoma. It's my old car I have a couple of them now. U a dub fan?

Nice.That sux
I lost one years ago
Got stolen
Now I bag them so they lay frame when parked. Unstealable imo
Or at least I'd hear the attempt.
The one in the pic was 2175cc with the Porsche shroud and a 200amp gm alt.
My newest one is 2200cc and I've invested so much I'm afraid to drive it anywhere.
Never had it dyno'd or at the track but it boogies pretty good.
I used to be a fixture on the samba site but I haven't had as much free time to spend in the garage
I was just thinking maybe swap the bumpers out for the originals, and switching the seats, panels and rag to tan, rather than white. Not a fan of Porsche alloys either. Prefer 5 spokes or stretched steelies.Seems expensive to me if u plan to change a lot of it.
Mine was pearl white from a Subaru when I bought it
Shouldn't have painted it.
I was looking the other day and there's a lot of good boned cars on there for under 5k
Might find a good year too
