Is it better for your plant to trim the fan leaves and other leaves if they are totally blocking flowering sites from recieveing light? Will i yield more if i trim the leaves or not? Will the thc increase or decrease? if this is a stupid question let me know? LOL thanx guys. oh

p.s. i just harvested my first ever lowriders. 2 of them. the trichomes and thc is crazy on them. they were about a 25% amber and 75% milkywhite clearish. so i figured it was time. im estimateing about 14 g per plant dried. wich i feel is not bad for the first grow. i still have 5 hydro plants and 5 more soil plants going. seeds from atiitude. if i could get the new uploading pics process to work i ewould upload pics but i cant get it to work. so please help witht he question above. i could use it for the rest of the crop. Thanx

No its not. Just bend the leaves out of the way or get some side lighting. I train my branches horizontally so the light shines on more of the plants surfaces. Ripping off leaves is only going to stress your plant and lower yeilds. Do a site search on trimming leaves.

What sort of light are you using?

you have fuckin jokes huh? when i was friggen serious about the shit
first reply aint a joke jimmy, its good advice - fan leaves help the plant produce quality bud through the photosynthesis process, best leaving most of em on and maybe tucking em to get light to buds

Its a question that has been answered many, many times before. TAGH was simply stating the obvious. Next time do a search before you post a problem. Just remember, You are not the first person to ever grow dope. Millions of people have gone before you, asked the same questions and made the same mistakes. Next time, google first and don't get the shits at people for putting their two cents in. If you don't want to leave yourself open to ridicule, don't post stupid questions on a public forum. Good luck......

here are some updated pics of the harvest of four of my soil plants. they were in 1.5 gallon pots in my closet. most of the time under cfls. the last three weeks of flowering they were under a 400 watt hps. lol i think this is pretty good for my first ever grow and harvest. i woulda grown them abiout another week longer but something happened where i had to harvest them.
