Is it a Good Idea to Start with Growing Mids?

k...itl be O.K for now...in the 2 weeks get at least a 65w one...$15 at most hardware store....

when they 1st come out of soil put the light real close...2-4 inch

Joey If you could post a picture of your setup, I would like to see and help you. As for nitro, I've grown plenty of plants keeping them outside for the day and bring them in at night. You will not stress it to death, its a weed, weeds can grow in almost the worst condition possible. Joey said it was just a regular mid seed so he shouldn't have much problem, but do not use regular circular bulbs, you will literally fry them to death. Just get some cheap 42 watt florescent bulbs at your local Lowe's or Home depot. I went into Lowe's and bought 2 42 watt florescent bulbs for $3.99. Alright I'll be able to do it. Also I have to say growing is way more complicated and technical then I thought it would be, and I already thought it was going to be tough. But Im really excited and i dont feel disenfranchised at all. And I've always got you guys on here to help me out, so I think eventually I'll get into the swing of things. Have any of you ever had a bad first time expiernce with growing?

Forgot to mention, Put your seed in a 1 gallon container. Transplanting does cause stress and will stunt the growth for a couple days. Miracle grow seedling starter is personally my favorite, but others will tell you Miracle grow is the worst shit ever or Fox farm is the way to go. I personally don't want to order soil over the internet so I just go to Lowe's. Anyways start it off in a 1 gallon container will save you less of a hassle and when its about a foot tall you will see why it was a good idea to start it off in a big container.

My first time experience was awful. I wasn't very educated and didn't know of this site. My dumb ass self had my plant under a 3 watt florescent bulb and I was wondering why my plant was growing. It literally grew about 6 inches and just got ridiculously wide. After about a month and the plant only being this tall I literally was pissed and threw it out. Just don't check on your plant every single hour of the day. You will over water it trust me. Water your plant like every other day even if the soil is dry. If you don't your plant will most likely experience root rot and its terrible.
