Is is normal for buds to smell like wet grass before curing?

I had them drying in the shed for a week.

But it's dry ? start curing when it ready, dry enough. wont the smell get better over time then?

I just took them down when the stem snaps. They look like kush, its just that it doesnt smell like it. Just wanna know if curing helps the smell.

i just got a deal on a zip because it smelt like hay....cured a lil and now it smells nice and fruity!

Yeah from what I've read the bud will smell like fresh grass clippings until after you start curing it, when it's fully cured it'll smell heavenly.

I know it smells amazingly good growing. I was worried everything would smell like skunk, but instead it's like a lemony-fruity smell...
