Is indoor bud actually better than outdoor?

LOL why even smoke weed? I hear cinnamon sticks taste great with a beer after work.. On a serious note, when I used to drink I used to enjoy Heineken, but not because I liked that skunk booty taste when they weren't perfectly chilled, rather because one of them was like a 6 pack of Bud Light or whatever.
I just don't get what you cussed the guy out for? Go ahead and start the poll. What do you smoke for... high or taste?
I'm not saying taste isn't one of the components that makes up good buds, but if shwag smoked like sensi and sensi smoked like shwag (potency wise,) I would smoke the shwag even though it didn't taste as good.

Depends on where it is grown, how it is grown and who grows it.
Outdoor Thai still places number 1 for me. ( From Thailand or Cambodia ) Followed by Muchacan from southern Baja and after that it is the weed I grow ( indoors ..A DPBB x NL ).
There are so many variables I would have to vote NO !

Location is the largest factor for outdoor. If you are in the right climate, it is hard to beat outdoor grown. If not, indoor will generally be better since you are the God of your environment. Indoor you are trying to mimic the perfect outdoor environment. Unfortunately, you cannot mimic the perfect outdoor environment so either way takes a hit. Of course it is impossible for any grower to hit maximum potential from any plant. You will always have some variables that are not perfect.
One ongoing argument that I feel plays into this is the UV discussion.
I would grow indoors with a system to take advantage of the sunlight when possible, like a blackout motorized roller shadrs on the skylight. With a timer to open and close.
Used to peddle outdoor as hydro back in the day. No one knew as the outdoor was actually some of the best stuff around. Imo proper outdoor is alwsys the best.

I think indoor is better simply for the fact you can control conditions, (Light and temp), but more than that, you can control bugs.
The thing with outdoor is, in the right environment you don't need to control
anything. Just sit back and relax till the next watering.
Healthy outdoor plants are
not susceptible to pests (bugs) and the lighting and temp is just fine.
I hear quite a few that say with indoor, the buds smell and taste better
but with outdoor the high lasts longer.
There are some buds that
do taste just as good as indoor hydro when grown outdoors such as
Cherry Pie but then again maybe that same Cherry Pie would taste even
better when grown indoors?

dude that is just not true...im not saying in most cases indoor is generally more potent,but well grow organic bud brought to full maturity cant really be beat....in my opinion anyways...im sure many will disagree.
i grew a fire og x brothers grimm c99 last year and it was the most potent bud i have ever smoked!and done by mid september to boot...and feminized!
with the right strain,outdoor can be better,depends on the growers skil level and the enviornment.

yeah the outdoor will be strong and taste good...
but the indoor will be stronger and taste better...always.
unless you completely suck at growing.
I dont know ANYONE that would spend $300+ for ANYTHING grown outdoor...
I dont care how strong it is....
I grew some white widow outside and inside...
loved both of them,
outside even yielded more...
but the indoor was OBVIOUSLY better....no question about it... not even close.
I've found this consistent in all the weed I've ever bought and the little that I've grown.
again, I'm not dissing on outdoor...I grow both...
but depending on what your definition of the word 'BETTER" is
will probably reflect on your answer....
I still just dont know how anyone thats grown the same strain outdoor and indoor could ever say that the potency OR taste was better outside...
oh wait, I can.... the outdoor would be better if you were growing indoor wrong!

Nice biased post with no stats to back your claim up. Its personal opinion so there nvr will be a definite answer. Just blaze a bowl and dont mind where it was grown. If you get high and it taste good then thats all that should matter
