Is harvesting a plant in stages worth the extra effort?

I was wondering about this today.

Last year when I harvested a plant I took the whole plant at once. Some of the lower buds were fluffy and small. I know this is normal, but If I pull the tops and leave the lower buds for say another week or two (weather permitting) will it increase the over all yeald enough to be worth the extra work?

Thanks.

This is 2nd cropping, I HIGHLY recommend it. I harvest all the top juicy colas and leave all tiny buds to double or triple in size. Even in rainy shitty weather I don't have mold or rot probs like I do in Cola harvest.

Cool. Sounds good to me.

What extra work?
Watering, harvesting again, keeping track of everything in the drying room. Not a lot really but I wasn't sure if the low buds would get bigger or not.

If your fighting PM I would harvest all at one time. I have let them go two years now. Near all went to PM really bad both years. I am in Oregon and PM is big problem for me. I would say if your plants are healthy go for it.

it's quite a feeling to be watering a plant and cutting it down at the same time. but worth it if the weather permits.

Is there really no way to fight pm? I have pm also and am waiting for them to flush. And jus noticed it yesterday or the day before. What do you do with the parts with pm? Can you do anything with it or is it jus garbage? I want to make hash and oil but idk if that will work.

I'll keep that in mind thanks. I was fighting PM last year and harvested everything right before a rainstorm was due to hit because if it. If I can remain PM free I will give it a shot.

If you have PM on the fan leafs and smaller leafs it seems to be okay. But if your PM is infested on your cola leafs with the PM running down into your buds it's garbage. Anything with PM gets tossed.

How long so the low buds take to fatten up? I'm thinking two weeks-ish but that's just a guess.
Thats a good guess, 2-3 weeks works well.....sometimes they even purple up from the stress of first chp and the cold and look like another strain.
