Do you just apply like a regular job or do you have to know someone to work at dispensarys?Well, this is not my case anymore but I was working in a Medical Marijuana dispensary, mainly making the concentrates and working behind the counter a bit... so sort of was for a while Not anymore though, getting a normal job... no MMJ where im at now >.<
I feel that. I'm sort of thinking about making it my primary source of income. I don't know though, it add a hell of a lot more risk to it all than just keeping it to my self. And this would be in the upcoming years, nothing soon as I only have my second grow going and neither of the 2 have been legitimate.Hobby for me.....but I imagine I could make a pretty good living at it. I enjoy my job to much, but growing is Very relaxing and a great stress reducer....
never mind my last post, I'm drunk.^was that a sarcastic like? haha
Yea, I agree with that! I'm curious to see the prices and how they sell it in CO and WA. I wonder what the feds are going to do If anything.I was thinking that bud is going to be legalized within the next 10-20 years and if I become a successful "prohibition era" grower then I can have a nice little story to go on the back of my sacks of bud being sold in the gas stations of the future haha. The money is wild compared to what it will be when it is legalized though I think.
I think the feds are going to hit a couple big operations to send a message but I think they'll leave the medical alone. I feel like the price won't get too much cheaper though, especially if the feds are busting down the doors at the grow ops.Yea, I agree with that! Good point..its going to be interesting to see how it turns outAlso if they got a lot cheaper there would be problems with exportation of the bud to non legalized states causing real problems for the cause.
yep. been stuck at my casa a few years. crappy electrical and no 220 in sight. have been growing in tents and shit forever. kinda tired of having these things scattered thru my house. so i upgraded casas to help with space. soon a 6 light setup will be in my future. 2 1000s for veg and 4 for flower.Technically yes. That will become a for sure yes in the next few months.
I have been limited by space, and power as I have been growing in an apartment for the past year. In that time frame I could not have supported myself with just the growing alone as issues came along with the grow which set me back. That and every penny made went back into buying more equipment and modifying my rooms, trying new things.
Decided to do most of the experimenting early to see what style of growing best suits me and I have settled on one for now.
I have just gotten to the point where I can finally make some decent money, but that money is going into building new rooms in my new house Im moving to this week. So... fuck me right?
That being said, I'd rather not talk specific numbers, but dialed in you can easily make enough to live on.
On legalization I honestly dont see much of a price drop happening. Higher demand, more workforce, high taxes, Licensing fees. Prices will stay the same IMO.
exactly. my setup is quite ghetto in a few aspects. Extension cords running power from other places.yep. been stuck at my casa a few years. crappy electrical and no 220 in sight. have been growing in tents and shit forever. kinda tired of having these things scattered thru my house. so i upgraded casas to help with space. soon a 6 light setup will be in my future. 2 1000s for veg and 4 for flower.
I was talking about prices on the growing/profit end of it all. The taxes and supply/demand will go up but I feel like the prices the growers will be forced to sell at will be much lower. Who knows for sure though, only time will tell.Technically yes. That will become a for sure yes in the next few months.

yeah. i too had the stupid extension cord fiasco. i have 2 1000s for flower now and a few 400s for veg. ive started out with a small closet and the shit just got addicting and shit blew up. now i can do it up right and go big with the years of practice ive had and the equipment and space ill soon have at my disposal. construction on the new rooms start on the first. im stoked. lol.exactly. my setup is quite ghetto in a few aspects. Extension cords running power from other places.
dont worry i spend the extra cash on high amperage cords, so no fire hazards here.
but even with that, i am limited to 15 amps in flower(and i still flip the breaker sometimes. few other things in the house on the same circuit.), and same for veg.
after the move, i will be upgrading to 8x600's for flower(2 rooms 4 ballasts with a flipbox), and havent decided on veg yet.
its actually good to start small anyway. you get the learning and mistakes out of the way.
i think it will all fairly level out. sure profit may drop SOME, but i dont see it being much.I was talking about prices on the growing/profit end of it all.
