Is God Helping Tim Tebow?

I guess I'm assuming everyone knows who Tim Tebow is (quarterback, Denver Broncos).

Anyway, people all over seem to think that God is helping Tim Tebow win football games. I don't think so. But if He is, then I wouldn't know what to think about God.

Because, you see, at about the same time that God was supposedly helping Tim Tebow win football games, authorities discovered a 14-year-old girl who weighed under 50 lbs in the closet of her house being starved to death by her mother. I don't have a link to the story, but it was on the national news. She eventually died.

Time Tebow was born into a caring family, and had a naturally superior body and athletic ability. Yes, I know he worked hard and has a great attitude. But he was "given" so much better opportunity than most people could dream of. Now he's a multi-millionaire, who could have about anything and almost any woman he wanted.

Tim Tebow doesn't need any help from God. Yet religious Christians are saying he gets help from God to win football games. Why don't those same Christians question why God didn't help the girl who was starved and tortured to death by her own mother?

I don't understand.

Of course God helped him! He has a lot of money riding on those games you know. God love money more than anything, ask the Pope. Christians are funny.

God definitely is spending his time helping pro-sports players that pray to him/her. All the other important shit, famine, war, poverty, child starvation, that takes second string when Tebow is playing.

Who are these religious Christians making these statements? You sure it wasn't the media?

Also soccer is far from boring if you follow it. They are true athletes. Soccer players perform in 2 halves for 45 minutes straight with little or no breaks. And doing it on a field 100 yards long or more. Football is physically demanding but in a different way

I'm sure you're right. I was just joking about soccer. Millions of people love it, I know. It's just that I can't get into it. American football has it's drawbacks, but I really like it.

Peace to you, and good growing.

who said GOD is helping him - ide check if he still has his soul or not - now he has fame, money, and a shit load of religious supporters backing up every move he makes..
hes praising "god" to gain attention - blasphemy at its finest - yet just another one of satan's goats

I think he is very sincere (unlike say Deon Sanders who minisitered for a while), though very misguided. What he seems to have done is made more contact with his "god within" (we all have it) than most of us do, which has allowed him to achieve at such a high level.

Yes, even though he is so wrong about the existence of God, don't you have to admire him for his dedication and faith? Very much like the same mis-guided perpertrators of 9/11, Tim Tebow is adamant about his beliefs. But in a non-violent way. He's an idiot. But he's an idiot worth admiring.
