I guess I'm assuming everyone knows who Tim Tebow is (quarterback, Denver Broncos).
Anyway, people all over seem to think that God is helping Tim Tebow win football games. I don't think so. But if He is, then I wouldn't know what to think about God.
Because, you see, at about the same time that God was supposedly helping Tim Tebow win football games, authorities discovered a 14-year-old girl who weighed under 50 lbs in the closet of her house being starved to death by her mother. I don't have a link to the story, but it was on the national news. She eventually died.
Time Tebow was born into a caring family, and had a naturally superior body and athletic ability. Yes, I know he worked hard and has a great attitude. But he was "given" so much better opportunity than most people could dream of. Now he's a multi-millionaire, who could have about anything and almost any woman he wanted.
Tim Tebow doesn't need any help from God. Yet religious Christians are saying he gets help from God to win football games. Why don't those same Christians question why God didn't help the girl who was starved and tortured to death by her own mother?
I don't understand.
