Many tell me no need to flush??is that ok??whats the best thing to for the smell and Taste??

flushing is not needed.. many elements aren't mobile within the plant, immobile elements, meaning that they can't move freely from one part of the plant to another, so no amount of flushing is going to do anything to remove these..

Best thing for smell and taste is good genetics and not over feeding with a bunch of bottles of bullshit. You can't remove what the plant has absorbed by flushing it. About half of nutrients the plant cant move (immobile) The other half the plant can move from old growth to the newest growth where its needed, thats why you see leaves turn yellow. Try not to fall into more fertiliser equals more and better bud mindset.

I use to flush but dont anymore, just lower your nutrient towards the end of flower.. i finish on about the same strength nutrients solution as i use for seedlings..
i find i have bigger yields and nicer weed through not flushing. there are many other reasons like no other crop in goes through a flush and nutrients are stored in the leafs not buds..

The best thing is proper drying and curing and that can't be argued. To flush or not to can be argued all day long so save yourself the bother and just do it both ways and decide for yourself but understand it won't mean shit if you screw up the drying and curing part.

I don't flush but I do do what my buddy and I call a wash, we always make sure to chop a few days after a watering instead of a feeding, there is a 2-3 week window where the potency of your bud will remain about the same and it's far easier to chop too early than too late so if we think a plant is ready we stop feeding right away and then water even if it's a week later and then chop a few days after watering. This is not actually a flush to flush you have to swamp the medium and drain it out and I've found that to be completely unnecessary but the wash does keep your bud from smelling and tasting like chemicals.

This is flushing, everyone saying feed less or water only... are saying flush without saying flush.
I don't really agree with that. Flushing to me means removing nutrients from the medium to almost zero and starving the plants for the final 2 weeks. Not that same as feed them less at the end. It's more extreme than that. Thats like saying walking out in the sun and sunbathing is the same.

What happens when your medium inherently has zero nutrients available? Then what is watering?
In context of cannabis growing flushing at the end, to most who practice, mean stop or taper feeding... to some very few who don't practice it means this extreme over-watering process.
In any case, whoever u selling ur weed to likely won't know a difference. Do whatever ya prefer.

Flushing is what people who overfeed think is a good solution to the problems they caused. Absolutely unnecessary.

And I dont overfeed 8 feed once every other week and I still find that feeding soon before chopping will cause your buds to smell and taste like chemicals, sometimes very strong

I'm using gh flora series, Renfro has had great success with it so I figured I'd give it a go.
That’s not really true, plenty of people who don’t overfeed think flushing helps, I’m not one of them, but not every believer overfeeds.
I also am a strong believer in measuring runoff and getting 30% runoff to flush out old with every feeding. Flushing with a different goal.

It’s fine. You’re either overfeeding or something else if you think it alters flavor. Your offering is only taken up by the plants as they need it. Plants don’t binge on nutes like drunks on wine.

Yes I water to runoff in between feedings as well, I'm going by Renfros charts so I really don't think I'm overfeeding. @hotrodharley when I say soon before I mean 1-4 days, that nutrient rich water will fill the plant even inside the cells if my memory of biology class is right.
