Is FF Ocean Forest ok for seedlings?

This is my first grow using 1 Nirvana Aurora Indica Seed.
After 48Hours of sitting in a damp paper towel the seed has popped out the beginnings of a little white root (or whatever the proper term for it is!) At first I had bought some of the Jiffy seedling soil stuff, but have read some negative reviews when using for cannabis seedlings. So I am thinking of using some Fox farms Ocean Forest Soil to plant my little darling into right off the bat! Will that be safe for my little seedling or too harsh?
Thanx for your wisdom and experience!

No, it's not. Vigorous seedlings may still survive in it but I wouldn't take the chance of giving Bat Guano and Worm Castings to any plant not yet growing its 3-bladed leaves. Seed starter soil, peat, vermiculite, perlite and other inert mediums are cheap and won't burn the little ones.

If you are concerned about the Jiffy stuff, get a bag of regular seed starter soil without the soil conditioners and whatnot. It shouldn't be much more than about $7 and can often be found in the garden section of some dept stores.

FFOF is a bit hot for most seedlings....if possible, at least put your germed seeds into a buffer soil first....such as a jiffy plug....then pop it into the FFOF when you see roots poke out.....then make sure you don't overwater.....
