is facebook more addictive than weed?

I came into the FB thing a bit late and at first I really liked the simplicity but now it's just cluttered with useless shit. I wish there was a place where I could still keep in touch with my 60 or so friends on FB without having to know what restaurant or airport they checked into or that my little nieces life is over at 16 because the stupid guy she's dating is an asshole.

Exactly, i had to ask myself why i was using it when i was actiuvely removing certain friends from my updates because of the shit always being posted JUSTIN BEIBER HAS A SPAZZ ATTACK LIKE TO VIEW ANNOSTON CAUGHT TOPLESS LIKE TO VIEW! Ended up with a blank home page haha. As ridiculous as it sounds i stopp contact with almost every single person i went to school with as a result of how pathetic they had become. I'd rather not have friends with that kind of "social" mentality.
