is curing necessary?

what is the best and quickest way to get my shit ready to smoke but save the quality

ive read it might take up to a month after curing it in a jar or whatever i didnt know about that i thought after hanging it for a week or so it was good to go

can anyone explain? dont tell me to go FAQ they go into way too much detail i need it plain and clear

I just quick dryed a sample of sweet dreams with a fan.
It took less than a day. I've never done this to a whole
harvest, but many don't recommend it.

You don't HAVE to cure it for that long...the longer
the better quality buds all around.

You can just wait until the drying process is over if you want, but in order to get the highest quality buds with the smoothest smoke, you are going to want to cure your buds.

If you smoke your buds right after the drying process, it is probably going to be harsh and not quite as potent as it would be if you were to cure it. When the drying process is finished (9 times out of 10) the bud is dry on the outside, but is still relatively wet on the inside of the nugs. Not only does this mean that the burn/smoke won't be as smooth, but a lot of the psychoactive ingredients that get us high won't be activated as they need to be dried to become psychoactive.

Curing the buds will help the moisture move from the interior of the nugs to become more evenly distributed amongst the whole nug, AND it increases potency.

Cure for quality, don't for quickness. Plain and simple.

Hey jonny how is the sweet dreams, I have some going?

If you must cure half and quick dry half. You will notice a huge difference if you cure....you'll get higher, the buds smell better, look better, taste better smoke smoother, etc.

I am getting ready to flower, been going for about 6 weeks veg, I can smell some sweet already. I can't wait for the clones to root, cause momma sweet dreams is about to get it...lol

Where's the journal, I wanna see...

I didn't do one on it, I dropped a bunch of single seeds, SD, Ice, Opium etc.
I did have some journals on my other three grows over you know where before I got banned. My next journal is either going to be Black Domina, NYC Diesel, or Ice. Sorry, did you do a journal, I know you had the Blue Berry one going...I had such problems with mine if you remember, well I found a good mom and now I'm enjoying some early smoke from her...finally.

A few buds in a paper bag on top of your monitor for a day or so will work too. Open the bag every couple of hours to let it breath. But true curing is the key. Once it is snapping dry, put it in a mason jar, sealed for a few hours, open it up, move around the buds, leave open for an hour. Seal again for a few hours, open again move em around, seal it up again and so on for day or so. Good to go. Once it is all sweated out, you can feeze it or store in the jars in a cool dark place.

So how do you store your buds Chiceh. Once you get them
how you reach your desired level, do you close them up and
just check on them every once in a while...or actually leave
the lid off for a certain period of time.

Once it is all dried, I am going to jar it up for a few days the way I said earlier, opening it each day for an hour or so. Then freeze some. Some will remain in jars curing while I smoke it, lol. Once it is all cured in the jar you can keep it there, take a bud out, let the air at it for a few minutes then chop it up. Great shit!
