Since its top shelf excellent stuff, just make people think you are going out of the way for them to get it and that its at your cost to help em out. Sometimes they even leave a few nugs for me to smoke. I still lol. :)
I've never been able to get more than 42 :(

the cheapest i have rolled out 4800.

where the markets are saturated the price falls.

300-325 oz (4800-5200 lb) is the perfect margin for the grower - retailer around these parts

i used to buy lbs of a+ indoor in colorado for 3000-3500 depending on time of year drive them back to pa and sell them 5200-6000 then i got nice outdoor in the mail from cali for 2k after the outdoor season and was offing it for 4800 per.

got myself in a legal entanglement almost a year ago sold a lb to an undercover (got set up) and am waiting to be sentenced to probation so i can move to cali and start growing again. we grew large scale indoors in colorado pre hb 1284 produced really nice indoor so I cant wait to go to cali get a nice indoor set up going and give the outdoor a proper try. even at 3600+ indoor and 2400+ outdoor during the 4 month good stretch of the year thats a ton of money to be made. its gonna be great being on probation and smoking/growing, when i found out you could move out of state while on probation i jumped for joy :D

Doesnt California have a "no prior record" rule or something that would exclude you from a growers license? I really dont know, its what I've *heard* and you know how that goes.......

No. A growers license isn't a legal document. The doctor's rec is all you legally need to grow. There are no rules disqualifying people who have gotten busted from getting a doctors rec.

Grow License is a scam. I've seen some "clinics" charge $150 for nothing. It's not legally binding.

Your doctor cannot deny medicine based on previous convictions. That would be a mess waiting to happen.

Yea man what part of cali you moving to? If your almost any were in socal i can help you a lot and we will be great friends! haha RIU folks have been real cool down here in socal.

gettin ready to make the move to cali in about 6 months with a buddy, intentions of doin the legal grow and vending full time. cant wait, every day slowly ticking by in my cubicle in this shit state is only bearable cause i know im on my way back to doing what i love
keep your head up buddy...better to make sure you got yourself covered financially before you go out, but I did the same thing and it's so worth it. There's no place like California and I've been a lot of places and being out there for me, doing what I love, and making other people happy with my product, can't beat the satisfaction! Those months you spend in that cubicle will soon be forgotten and replaced by amazing new adventures and friends. I support anyone with the same dream as mine and trying to make it happen. I'm not saying it's easy though and you can't go out and be in it just for the money because the money isn't right there at the beginning, you gotta put a lot into it, but it's attainable for sure!

ugg, omg... Don't forget its two full time jobs doing a grow! Plus I have a very small amount!
Also its very expensive for grow materials, fencing, dog food, hell everything is expensive in my area and nutrients are $$$Expensive$$$ soil is $$$$.

Guys, if your doing it Indore I guess start up cost if less then a full blown outside grow,

smart pots (Most soil can be impossible to dig into)
Water, there is a shortage of water and most guys are having it trucked into town.
City regulations, there always changing so whats ok one day might not be ok the next!
Lawyers, love them, hate them, either way you will need one unless your uncle is a tax accountant or genius at legal forums.
Real estate agents, they long for the "Easy money" and getting a good one is impossible and they lie, lie, lie sell you a house with mold and no water any day of the week.

Tweaker/rippers, As good as a grower you might be they are good at ripping you off and will watch your every move and hump your gig two weeks before harvest with out fail!
I have 5 dogs all over 125 pounds and an English mastiff thats 170 pounds and tweakers don't have common scene and don't really think the "Job" all the way so they are dangerously stupid.
Medical clubs, most viscous group of money drinkers out there. Just called one today that wanted $2500 and I call and he said "No its $2500 for Indore. Organic premo outdoor is $800 and it better be killer" CLICK on the phone.

Plus when your "In a grow" its impossible to get out because you have commitment and over head to pay back to your brother, mother, father you might have borrowed it from and vacations will consist entirely of visiting clubs.

Now WTF was I thinking!

Also full blown legalization could be just around the corner and prices could drop even below the cost of production if big industry gets in the game, not to mention tobacco and big pharma.

Now with that all said I hope you make some new friends and have a good time working 17 hours a day, First case of Sierra Nevada is on me!

I forgot to mention all of the hydro shops are STOCKED with killer intelligent and kind people, most of them moved into town to grow also lol.. but as the proverb goes,
Should I Mine Gold or Sell Picks & Shovels?
The issue is that the people made the most money during the gold rush were NOT the Gold Miners, they were the ones who are selling picks and shovels.

I forgot to mention, iv listened to more then one story about a best friend relationship "Grow team" being split apart, greed, stupidity, thievery, you name it.
Just about every time two guys get together to do a grow one of them flips out or takes the woman or takes the crop and feels cheated.

I for one have had just about enough drama in this game. There is a crisis more often then not.

Also making friends with growers is tough because they can be quite arrogant and some are belligerent when you tell them cutting down the forest to grow is way not cool.

Were primarily looking into rural northern cali in the mendo humboldt, outside redding area. Any info on chill spots in socal would be great though the more options the better. even if i ended up in norcal id probably find myself driving south at some point chasing prices and we could meet up and smoke a fatty :D

Thanks man I'm doing it regardless what people say so it's always nice to hear some good feedback. we have about 50 grand to start off on and i love the lifestyle and everything that comes with it, yeah we dont grow for free but we sure arent there just for the money :)

Yeah I'm aware of all the dangers, the guy im moving with is a great friend of mine and my grow partner from colorado, we did this before without issues. as for rippers we will have dogs and ill be camping in my fields cause hell i love the outdoors anyway (view it as getting paid to camp). and well if it goes legal my selling to dispensaries goes out the window but i could produce more and ship it out of state to my brokers, ive got connections all over this country
