Is Cali Still Flooded?

Get rid of it all before outdoor harvest.
Sounds easy but i plan on running a perpetual grow...and i could always stock pile since I'm not depending on growing as any major source of income...but I wouldn't want to keep more then a few #'s around at a time...wanna stay under legal limits.

Talking about limits, I have a "State card" county hologram and state patient ID #,
I only do "Food" and it takes 4x more pot then smoking.

My Dr offered me a 15 pound yearly "Rec" but wanted $150!

Would the state card be enough? It has no info what so ever other then my photo and my ID Number.

Could I bet getting jerked off from this doctor?

He told me if I kept a weekly journal that would help back me up if I ever was questioned.

My neighbor has a 1001 oz "Card" and I think thats just silly, but??? The law changes every other month and Doctors rush in to take advantage.

Dude , it's an election year , right after a year when the Feds came down like a damned hammer just to make a point, Might be time to pull in your horns a bit and ride it out , Que' no?

The pendulum is swinging back folks , and the spectre of who was *actually* behind Prop 19 , along with the Shades of BiGPharma and BigTobacco are lurking and conspiring to yank the rug out from under us when this all goes " legal ".

For reference take a look at the amount of time you'll draw for growing illegal , unlicensed tobacco in certain southern states. This stands the potential of being a multi tens of BILLIONs dollars a year industry , and that's *just* taking into account the West Coast states.......

Follow the money.

yes. Clubs are still selling off their outdoor.

I've never seen this much crap bud being sold at dispensaries before. lol. This summer it's going to get real ugly.

But the dispensaries love this shit. Since most of the bud out there is crap, they can sell B+ as top shelf and people have to buy twice as much of it as they would the good stuff.

YUP. YUP. YUP. Too true, my friend. The quality is falling like sweat off a ball sack. I like to use a certain West Los Angeles Dispensary as a measuring stick of what's out there because they carry 70+ strains. What's out there is total shit. My shit is sitting there at 22% and the next one down is 18% and then it goes to 14%. 70 strains with only 3 over 13%. What is going on? I mean, it's great for us because we only grow 20%+ weed. But, what does this say for the market forces? Are people really liking this shitty weed? Is it the economy? It's really not THAT much cheaper. Fuck people....demand great weed from your dispensary and they'll be forced to go out and find it. If you settle for crap, they'll serve you crap with a smile.

I think I know what happened. All the weed snobs have moved on to doing dabs. They aren't buying buds anymore.

The people who are still buying bud just seem to be accepting the fact that the quality isn't as good as it used to be. These dispensaries aren't seeing less traffic because of it. Now the dispensaries have figured out that people will accept lower quality for the same money. So if they can buy outdoor for $2k, and people will pay $55 an 1/8 for it, why would they even want to bother with good indoor? Lower profits. The only reason they would accept lower profits is if the customers demanded it. Since they aren't, why would they want to spend more to get indoor?

That only goes so far though. If the bud is shitty right now, it's going to be god awful by summer time. We'll start seeing brown bud on the shelves soon. The average dispensary customer might not be able to tell the difference between top shelf and midgrade, but they know brown when they see it. Just wait for it. Cali will experience a bud drought this summer.

Yep. And when it doesn't get them high, they just smoke/buy more of it.

Dabs are killing the bud market. for the better imo. non-processed flowers are for kids ;)

Bud drought, lets hope so. Time to push indoor back up, make it worth while again.

Ya I think a huge percentage of folks who were buying buds are now just buying oil/wax..or making it themselves. I was hitting up dispensaries 4-5 times a month for a couple years, but recently been self sufficient enough, and if I get low I only buy oil.

There are also tons of people who don't know anything about quality and are happy with what they are being served. My roommate just got back with some stuff from the LA area (I'm in OC), and he was all stoked to show me. It was nothing special, at all...in fact I probably wouldn't have purchased it.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with the emerging dabs market either. Makes trim more valuable. I've started taking better care of my trim because of it.

It'll be worth it. Come June the dispensary shelves are going to look like shit. They already are to an extent. Check out Harborside SJ. Ewwww....... I've never seen it that bad.

Exactly. A gram of wax lasts a really long time compared to an 1/8 of bud.

The majority of people who go into dispensaries just buy whatever is the most expensive with the biggest buds. They are completely unaware of quality.

All I take from this is that I will be moving more extracts this summer

Just got back from making the rounds. I just witnessed a pack of 12.8% thc bud get purchased by a dispensary for $3400. lulz.

Of course this same buyer denied my flawless 20% blue dream after describing it as "the best blue dream I've seen in over a year". Typical. lulz

Seems like obscure strains are what is selling right now.

We're "making the rounds" in the Hollywood/West LA area tomorrow. I will visit 6 dispensaries and buy a couple grams at each one of their "top shelf". I'm anticipating a sad trip.
