Is bleach bad to clean with?

I've heard not to use bleach to clean my res with, but I have in the past. Is that a bad idea?

Good rinse after will be fine.

Nah it should be fine, just give it a good rinse. I highly doubt anything left behind would be substantial enough to damage your plant.

I wouldn't use straight bleach...just do like 2 TBSP Bleach to 1 GAL Water and you're golden. Let it air-dry.
