Completely wrong. First, if you like apples and bananas, then you make the choice to eat one because from birth, you had a natural liking for both.
Now if you were born with a horrid distaste for bananas from birth, then you aren't making a choice because there is only one option in your mind, and that is the orange.
Now say for instance, you ate the banana over the orange DESPITE your disliking of bananas, then that would be a choice.
See, when it comes to what you naturally like, if there is only one option, then it is not choice. But when there are two things you like, there must be a choice. To be straight or gay is not a choice because you naturally like one. But to pick something you don't like, or if you have two things you are attracted to, that is choice.
So, being bisexual you make a choice of penis/vagina or go with both. Being straight or gay, to you there is no "other" option because the "other" option doesn't attract to you to begin with, so in that instance there is no choice. It's really common sense to be honest.

I believe it's a combination of genetics and hormone levels, but there might be some psychological factors as well. Not the predisposition to one sex or the other, but the choice of the bisexual between the two sexes.
A lot of fetishes can be explained psychologically and can be attributed to life experiences, that might sway the person's choice one way or the other.

I live in the gay capital of Europe. Being gay is not a choice. People are born the way they are IMO. The punishment for being gay is some countries is death so it's quite obviously not a choice.

The census bureau assigns sexuality at birth like this- odd, even, odd, even, straight, gay, straight, gay. Doesn't matter if you're male, female or hermaphrodite. They're just doing their job, they don't really care about a persons sexual orientation, instinct, preference, attraction or choice. Neither should we.
