Is Auto-Flower really worth it?

I'm a master at Shrooms, but I have since become bored with Shrooms, Thus I am now looking towards 420. I'm a bit confused about Auto-Flowering strains. I know that they will bloom regardless of strict light intervals, but this sounds like they're for people that can't afford lights. It seems the pros are fast growing and flowering without strict lighting requirements.


The Auto section of this forum doesn't seem to be as busy as others.

it depends on the situation (like not being able to afford to grow spaces) and how you are looking to run the grow. What type of set up and grow style are you thinking of?

I'm looking for nothing serious. I purchased a Hydrofarm 150 Grow Light for $60. I just want to grow for myself and maybe a friend here and there. I stopped the Shrooms because they were boring and the grows were getting really CRAZY! Huge paper bags of dried Shrooms.

Autoflowers are ALL about light.
You'll get out what you put in.
My last grow gave me 5.25 pounds dry.

The entire grow is in my sig.

There's a couple mushrooms in there too, lol.

My last mushroom grow was 200 bags. Ended up pulling an average of 1.1 ounces per bag after the second flush.
All PE.

Yeah.... That' was Crazy.

You can find better strains than Royal Queen one. Just search around. I`d recommend Russian rocket fuel by Short Stuff, Biodiesell mass is a good strain too. Also check out Sweet Seeds. can name few others worth growing

ok so could do a couple plants at a time with that 150 if you plant 6 weeks apart you can harvest them 6wks apart n plant another and so on with your light on for 18/6 or 20/4 or whatever you prefer. maybe 3 plants four weeks apart if there is a place for the youngest plant to get some light. Or of course you could just toss em both beans in at the same time grow them out and repeat without needing to flip.

But if you dont mind waiting longer for bigger harvests and flipping your lights, photos are the way to go more diverse genetics usually somewhat more potent and the structure of the plant is more interesting IMO. Do you want to scrog or super crop or fuck with the plants more? if so photos. you can LST autos but nothing more (in most cases some people do top and such)

and I wouldnt mind having paper bags full or shrooms....... my first grow with them is still colonizing

IMO Autos are for outdoors, if you run a light 24/7 you will use more juice, and plants grow better outside anyway, if you grow regular cannabis indoors you can clone the same plant flower the mom, clone it again, and and flower clone flower, it's called the no mommas method. You will have a better plant and a perpetual harvest, Autos you limit yourself so much, can't clone it and keep it in veg till you need it, it just does what it wants. What kind of shrooms did you grow?peace

Just go with reg seed straight in 12/12 more potency more choice and like Sativa Dragon said you cant clone auto. So when you gonna find that pheno make you have a bonner if its a Auto you cant keep it
