yea, I don't wait for the promos either. i just buy what i want when i want it... but i can't buy it if they don't have it in stock. I ordered some seeds from canada once. It was my first time ordering seeds and I got 10 purple ryder autos... paid over $100 with shipping and everything. I think the canada seed banks are way too expensive. the north american seed bank and some other ones charge almost twice what attitude charges. they want like $200 for 1 pack of reg seeds from serious seed company and attitude and most other seed banks only charge like $90 or $100.

Fucking rip off, go to http://www.marijuana-seeds-canada.com/

They arent actually in canada though, they are in the UK and they are legit.
It tells u also in thier FAQ "we are in the UK"
dunno why they named themselfs that way
but they have prices on par to attitude, with the selection of SSCompany.
and single seeds / breeder packs, good stock. etc.

I am really sick of them being out of stock. Then they have the little place to give e-mail so the can mail you when they get back in stock. I have been waiting for some strains for 3 months now.....BullSH!T

its simple marketing, pretend you are out of stock of most of your beans leaving the customers to buy the more expensive this years release, as someone said on page 1, barneys are out of stock apart from tangerine dream there new strain, and G13 have jus released new strains and people are having trouble buying any other beans but those

I don't think you can blame Attitude.... usually in my past experience, if Atittude is sold out of a particular strain, usually the other seed banks are as well, for example when Tangerine Dream sold out, or TGA's Plusherry... It all falls back on the breeders.

You know I honestly think some of these seed companies like the idea of their strains selling out. It keeps people wanting and wanting their strains, especially if they're great strains historically.

If demand is high, you can basically charge whatever you want, and people will buy (when they're back in stock).

Not sure how much mastery of simple economics goes into affixing price points or in the overall availability of product, but I think a lot of these companies sell-out, and stay sold out for a while, just to create an artificial (or additional) demand for their product.

Then, when the seeds are available, they're quickly bought up, in an attempt to 'get it while the gettin is good'.

well I ordered from attitude earlier this month and I was happy with what I got. i ordered right before their big birthday promo so i missed out on all the birthday promo freebees, but i got my seeds in like 8 days and i was happy with the freebees i did get. I can't complain about attitude's service... i just wish they would get seeds back in stock a little quicker. and if it is discontinued and sold out... get rid of it! don't leave it listed as sold out & discontinued.

If they're out of stock of something then it's 95% going to be because the breeder are out of stock. Not a lot Attitude (or anyone else) can do there, other than lie and sell fakes I guess. You tend to find if a strain is out of stock at one reputable place then it is at the other reputable places - which is reassuring rather than the other way round!

i have to say that their restocking issues are vexing. its really been annoying.like i wanted to order gagegreen last month and it was sold out for a while. but they ship quickly. i mean what can we do tho but shop somewhere else until they fix that restocking problem. its their issue if they can't restock quickly.

There is no conspiracy theory going on with the seed supply. The seed business is booming and it is hard for the breeders to keep up with the demand. Usually this is when you see the demand kicking in and prices rising. Conspiracy no, business yes.
