Is alot of ph down bad for my plants?

hey.

I find myself having to pour almost 5 cap fulls of ph down ( each cap full is around 15ml) into my 8 gal resevoir. Is this normal? i am using AN sensi grow a and b, mother earth grow. my tap water ph is around 7
 
Could very well be that's what it takes to get balanced.

Some pH up and down solution is stronger than others.
I think the powder is stronger for sure.

Next time you buy some you may want to try a different brand and see.
 
75ml of PH down???? Holy Shit!! Your tap water has to be extremly high. I have tap water at 6.3-6.4 and I have to put in 2.5 of ph down in 12L of a 5 gallon bucket. I use liquid PH down and 1 ml in 12L will bring down the PH .2.

im using organics too it seems like it takes more to control that
 
Yea Im growing organic as well. But like Cruzer101 some PH down/up is stronger then others I guess. I dont know or not cause Ive used the same brand since the begining.
 
wowie, I'd try another botle of pH down, maybe it's freaking old. make sure you check pH after you add nutes to water not before. most nutes lower pH some themselves

I left my bottle of PH down in the direct light of the grow lamp and it went bad. I opened a new bottle and it worked great.
