Is a MH bulb suitable for flowering?

I'am eight weeks into flowering and my HPS bulb burnt out will my MH bulb finish off the job for me? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!:lol:

It will work. You may lack the density you may have seen from you hps bulb, but as long as you have a switchable ballast np. Better than no light right.

MH will finish your crop off just fine with no diminish in weight. alot of growers in the know use MH lights in their gardens. the uv that the mh puts off is very beneficial in trichome production....

Couldn't have said it better myself..at worst: slight decrease in weight more resin
