Have you ever run 2 600 hoods in a 4x4 tent? I can’t imagine ever doing that. Unless you had access from all sides I wouldn’t want to try and imagine raising the lights not to mention cramming all that in there along with exhaust etc. sorry, I think this is the worst advice on riu that I have read, but again, show us a pic.

Mine are in a 5x5 I have access from both sides. I'll post a pic once lights come back on finish setting everything back up.

With a 1000 watt mh I could easily keep my canopy at 23 degrees Celsius or 73 degrees F. I'm using an air mover 550 CFM carpet dryer connected to a 8 inch hose that feeds cool basement air into base of the tent. For exhausted same thing 500 CFM it only needs to run for a few seconds to maintain temps. Plus I'm running about 500 CFM through my hoods with a booster fan on each end and one in the middle acutal 4 inch vivosun things. I'm moving an insane amount of air. When it calls for it. Light fans run all the time big fans come one seldomly humidity is controlled by inkbird I'm using a modified old school evaporative humidifier to be a cool mister (that's the trick) it acts as a cooling eliminating the use for ac.

2 600s is only 2 hundred more watts than a 1000 and it's two points of light and space above the light foot print doesn't matter so much it's pretty much exhaust and wire space. 75 watts per square foot is still in optimum range if you can keep temps under control. I wouldn't go any higher though.

I'll get more pics later that's 2 plants in 20 gallon containers each under a 600 HPS. It's lights out right now. So I'll attend to this post once everything is setup enough to put it on here without to much judgement.

With hps the general rule of thumb is 50 watts per square foot. That’s 800 for a 4x4. 1000 watts for a little extra kick. 600 is fine and if it’s for personal use you’ll grow more weed then you’ll ever need. If you want more than one point of light, go with LEDs.
