is a 250w hps too hot for a 2x2x5 grow tent

hello everyone. so this is my fisrt post on this site but ive been lurkin it for a while. so heres my problem.. ive been growing with cfls for a while n have been getting good results.. but now i wana upgrade to a 250w hps. my problem is i dont know if its going to be too hot for my grow tent whitch is 2x2x5. i know if i get a in fan n a out fan it should drop the temp a little but i was thinking a hps in that small of a space would be to much heat. and i dont have enough money to get a cooling system for the light so im hoping that it will be good with just the hps in the tent. if anyone has experience with a 250 w in a similar setup plz help...

yeah 250 is ok for that size but you will need good ventalation for the space, try the hydrofarm sunburts system it comes with a built in ballast.

a built in ballast would just make it more hot, id checkout a cooltube if you can afford it.
